Hi! I did not download a Hiipoo ICC code. I've yet to have a need to color correct my images prior to sublimating. In case this bit of info is useful, I've thusfar only completed sublimation projects on white mugs and tumblers since I set up my printer. I've yet to attempt additional materials/surfaces or colored backgrounds. It doesn't appear that Hiipoo created a file for the et-2400 series, but Nikki on YT has a detailed video on how she modified an existing ICC file to best fit her color preferences for her Epson 2400: ruclips.net/video/beUnWxgp0zE/видео.htmlsi=ai3HwTjPKsActrIE Hopefully Nikki's video is more helpful than I was. Hi! The transparency depends on the drawing app you're using. I was using Photoshop, so the feature to set the opacity (transparency) was in the "Layers" module. If you're using Photoshop, you can go through the tutorials from the Help menu. There are other great tutorials online. Just search for "Photoshop tutorial" (or search for the name of the drawing app you're using). I hope this helps!

Hi! For the cover, I used the settings noted at 02:18 in the video (2 passes). I thought it was still low, but I didn't have another journal to engrave and try with a different setting. So, the settings I shared at that point in the video were the final settings. Sorry for the confusion.

Hi! I used 2 inch wheels, and it worked well for me. I highly recommend getting castors with locks so the cabinet doesn't move with a bump or while you're opening and closing the "doors." I hope this helps!

Hi! I downloaded the app through this website: www.huion.com/download/ Select "Pen Display" Select "Kamvas Pro" for the product series Select "Kamvas Pro 12" for the product name The app is how you're able to connect the tablet to your computer and control the settings. Be prepared for updates as it may take time to complete. The Huion website also has guides for setting up the tablet if this video wasn't helpful. Just don't forget to plug in both the usb and hdmi cables securely into the tablet and computer. I made that mistake initially before realizing it needed extra pressure. I hope this helps?

Hi, and congrats on the new drawing tablet! The HDMI adaptor may be the issue. I've had several viewers comment that they needed a different adaptor to get their tablet recognized by their computer. Also, try setting your secondary display is set to "duplicate" or "mirror" the main screen. I honestly don't know if it'll work, but it's worth a try. Worst case, reach out to Huion support in case it's related to your operating system. I'm unfamiliar with Linux and couldn't help you further if that's the case. I hope this helped. Again, congrats on your new drawing tablet! I hope you can get to using it soon!

Hi! Are you using Microsoft Word or another program to print your images? I was using Microsoft Word, so the print options will differ for other programs. Also, did the printer fully complete the charge? (It's the step where you hold the stop button for several seconds to get the printer to prep the ink for the first print job.) You could try to charge the ink again just in case the process was interrupted during your initial setup. If you've already charged the ink and installed the Epson software, you may consider using the "Epson Photo +" program that was auto-installed with the software. There, you will have access to printer options along with some simplistic photo editing tools. I hope this helps.

Yes. It has to be connected to a computer because it "mirrors" the computer's screen.

I noticed you tape the image print then it look like you tape another layer of paper. Is I’m correct? If so what type of paper was it and why?

@sheenamalvoisin7810 You're correct! I taped the printed image onto the mug tightly to ensure a complete sublimation transfer (no gaps in image quality). The 2nd paper (Parchment paper) was to prevent sublimation ink from potentially bleeding through to the inner wall of my machine. It may be overkill to use the 2nd sheet, but I've had ink bleed through only once before. I'm just weirdly over cautious. 😊

I’ve read some cons to using this machine is that photos look grainy and the color black looks washed out. What was your experience with that?

@iQueenElsa Hi! In short... Yes, I have encountered grainy photographs and washed out blacks, but not always. I'm not sure if it's related to the original image quality (high quality, of course, comes out sharper) or my heat press settings. For example, my dogs' photos looked great after I sublimated them onto a mug, but an attempt at making a gamers mug with photos of black headset and controllers looked desaturated and blurry. While making custom mugs and tumblers as gifts for family lady Christmas, I played with my heat press settings. Personally, I pressed longer with a lower temperature than recommended by the manufacturer. Maybe it also depends on the heat press machine? I hope this helps! Btw, I'm not a pro. I sublimate to make custom gifts for others, not to sell for profit. I recommend asking the same question to another creator who sublimates for profit as they'd have a keen eye for the finger details.

@Francis_vca I hope this explanation helps (it's lengthy)... If an application works on your desktop or laptop, then it will work on the tablet. Theoretically, all Adobe products should work well. The tablet MUST be connected to a desktop or laptop in order to be used. It is not a standalone device like an iPad. No applications are installed onto the tablet. The tablet works as a second screen by mirroring what's on your desktop or laptop so that you can look directly at it and your drawing hand conveniently. Let me know if you have more questions.

Had another thought... If you are looking for free apps, you can try Sketchbook (I use this one on my phone), Clip Studio Paint, or Krita. There are others, but these are a few I've dabbled with. I heard Adobe Frisco is free of you want to look into it.

@@SimplyJellyJam I've seen people using clip studio paint and got interested. The thing is that on their download page they say you have a maximum of 3 months of free usage(on windows, which is what i use)
