I do like Panera (or Saint Louis Bread Co because I'm a proud STL native). My mom is newly sober, and it was an easy pick for a casual dinner out. No alcohol on the menu to avoid. It still had the nice enough restaurant experience. I surprised her with Baskin-Robbins afterward because of 31 flavors and 31 days, and her favorite flavor is in season. You can't eat ice cream on an empty stomach, so we needed a not too heavy dinner first.
Congratulations to your Mom!🙌 I know from experience it ain't easy, every day is a huge milestone💯 Very nice and supportive of you to recognize and celebrate this achievement!😊

Literally anytime you do a food video whether it be these or eat the menu I MUST go out and get that item. I never get Italian sandwiches and now I’m online looking at menus. Subway cookies have always had the best chain cookies. I've had Subway in several countries and it's always a dependable favorite 👌
Jimmy John's cookies tend to be inconsistent, when they are good they are really good but sometimes they are hard and dry.

The lady wasnt wrong, Blimpie opened its first store in 1964 at Hoboken, NJ. Subway open its first store in 1965 in Bridgeport, CT.
Sandwiches are one of my fav foods, so glad you guys are out here doing good work. Alex doing the cookie review is also great, even if he's limited to only ten seconds per cookie. Also, can confirm that Tastee Sub is a necessary eat. One of the only places that doesn't automatically add celery to their tuna, and a great eat no matter what sub you get.

As someone who lives in Jersey and goes to Tastee all the time, I’M SO PROUD!!!! LOVE THAT THE GUYS MENTIONED TASTEE!!! YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY CHECK IT OUT!!! If you live in Jersey, you know the lore. What happened was, Tastee had opened and one of the employees had stolen the recipe and quit. THAT EMPLOYEE WAS WHO STARTED JERSEY MIKES!!! Jersey Mike’s is just a build off of Tastee. Please support Tastee as a small business sandwich shop, rather than Jersey Mike’s franchise. LOVE THE TRY GUYS THANKS FOR THE SHOUT OUT!!!
I agree to support local whenever possible! However, the timelines don't add up. Tastee states it's been around since 1963 and Jersey Mikes states since 1959.

one note: it was disheartening as a disabled viewer to see y'all on the train without masks, because people not masking up in public spaces is making it so i cannot safely leave my house without risking what little ability i have left to live a full and exciting life. i understand with making content and filming there are probably issues around masking up on camera in a loud environment like that (muffled audio is a nightmare to deal with in any situation) but i wanted to voice this just in case anyone in the comments or in the company were unaware that not masking in public is forcing disabled people out of spaces we have every right to be in. it's not something i think is ~cancelable or something that would even make me stop watching because i know that y'all aren't doing it out of malice, but ableist stuff is really hard to notice if no one points it out!

I'm sorry to hear about your disability but I wanted to point out that wearing a mask in public places is not longer mandatory by law or any COVID restrictions. For that reason I think it is unfair for you to blame these guys for not wearing a mask. I understand you want to make people aware and I support that, but if you really want to press this I think you can better focus your attention on legislators, who can actually make this in to in a mandatory behavior. Until it is mandatory, I'm really sorry, but you cannot expect other people to adjust to your personal needs. I worked at Panera years ago and they used to have the Italian combo. Roast beef, smoked turkey, ham, salami, Swiss cheese, pepperoncini, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions & special sauce, on Ciabatta.
I am so pleased That Alex was in this video. It was a nice surprise and made me smile

fun fact! my family and i had just gotten our order at jerseys mike when we got the call my sister went into labor (there were multiple people with her) and we stayed at jerseys mike to finish our food because the sandwiches were so good 😊 we missed her giving birth but the sandwich was 10/10😊
