    I don't have any robots in Roborock's Q series yet but I'm thinking of getting the Q5. I do have the Ecovacs T10 Plus, I think it's a good bot, it's basically the X1 Plus's little brother, 3000 PA instead of 5000, doesn't have the voice assistant and only has a camera on the front instead of a camera and lasers. I don't use the obstacle avoidance on any of my robots, I don't have pets and they will clean closer to walls with that feature disabled. So far I have not had any issues with my T10 Plus or X1 Plus emptying themselves, it's always worked fine. I do think Roborock and Ecovacs are the best robot brands right now, it will be interesting to see what happens with the Roombas if this deal goes through and allows Amazon to purchase Irobot. I do think Roomba is falling behind, they need to get rid of using VSLAM and switch to Lidar, it's better in every way I think. Roomba also needs better battery life.

    Hey Nate, Great video. Do you happen to know of any outdoor patio leaf sweeper type robots in production or development at all? I feel like a robotic sweeper designed for outdoor entertaining areas might be quite feasible now with all the recent advances in indoor robot vacs. Thanks. Keep up the great work!

      So the only robots designed for outdoor settings and garages are the Makita amzn.to/3zTzqjd
      and dirt dog from iRobot

    Thanks for Comparing these two robot vacs. I was looking to buy the t10 but then I got a price drop alert from honey on the t8 plus for 129 bucks and I jumped on that. I was curious as to which one of these bots I would have bought and I'm definitely not happy with the t10's emptying capabilities or that the mop is blocked when it is docked. I think that's just bad engineering.

    Would you recommend the T10+ over the Roomba Combo j7+?

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  Год назад +1

      The Roomba can handle more dirt since it has a dirt detection and can empty as needed. The T10 has better mapping and App features. The cleaning ability is a little better.

    Can the Q7 return to base and self-empty while the mop is attached?
    Also can Q7 vacuum with the mop attached full-time, but with Mopping functionality turned "OFF" ?

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  Год назад +1

      Yes the Q7 can keep the mopping pad on all times and shut the water off. Keep in mind if you are trying to vacuum carpets, it recommended to remove the mopping pad.

    Hello. Thank you for your videos. Very informative! I would like to buy a robot vacuum cleaner and mop combo. I want something that vacuums and mops in the best possible way and takes away some of my workload. So I guess cleaning effectiveness is my top priority. I do not necessarily care about the self emptying things etc if the robot can truly clean and mop very well and do the work for me. This said, what Robot would you go for? Ecovacs Deebot N8, Ecovacs Deebot T10 plus and Ecovacs Omni etc are all on offer now in the UK market. Would you go for any of these? Roomba also are. Robororocks are not. Which one would you go for ? Thank you so much for your help in advance.

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  Год назад +2

      Hello, so out of the 3 Ecovacs the OMNI the best. Sounds like self emptying not a huge deal, but want an effective cleaner. I am not sure what the price is there, but I found the OMNI on sale amzn.to/3XhDc0w. The other option would be the T10 series found that a good option too. It a little cheaper

    • @nancygranata4788
      @nancygranata4788 Год назад +1

      Thank you. So the Omni is on offer for £ 849 and the T10 plus for £ 549. The N8 is £219 or £349 with the station. Is it worth in your opinion to spend so much for the Omni or the N8 or T10 would do an equally good job without the extra super smart features ? Thank you 😊

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  Год назад +1

      @@nancygranata4788 I would personally go with the N8, you don’t see a huge gain in cleaning performance for the more expensive model. You are paying for the convenience of self washing and emptying

      @@RobotMasters thank you for being honest :). I will try to make up my mind before Black Friday week is over😅. Generally, I am ok with the vacuum function of the majority of robot combos that I read about but it looks like the mopping function in combos is generally not great. If you have a super favourite robot combo please let me know as it may be something that is on offer too and I just don't know about it 😅 . Thank you !

      It does, utilities the top laser system to avoid. The obstacles. You won't get the live video feed, that the models with the front camera.
