    What does the mop do when they clean carpeted area? I don't want the mop to put all the dirt back to my carpets. Thank you for a wonderful video!

      I’ve got Xiaomi, Roborock S5, and Ecovac N9+ just to name a few. I also have a few other top performers 😂… But the Xiaomi and Roborock are much better at vacuuming only, particularly carpet; where the Ecovac T10+ is essentially obsolete.

      I would definitely get Xiaomi’s Roborock for vacuuming only [particularly carpet]; as the T10+ is practically obsolete on carpet. It is however a top performer in mopping only, although missing one essential feature over the Xiaomi’s X10+, being Xiaomi’s “avoid carpet on/ off feature.” Instead you have to draw 4-sided no-go zones. 😂 Think round rugs and/or any 4-sided rectangular rugs that aren’t set at perfect right-angles to each other, stupid, stupid, stupid!!!

    I was just starting to research a replacement for our trusty old chuwi ilife v5s. I like the stations part and combination of vacuuming and mopping/brushing. This combination really seems low-maintenance. How is it with random kid toys (varying sizes) lying around, this is my only concern. Any other recommendations for start and forget system with self-cleaning and not having to fear it will commit suicide with some random paw patrol toy?
    PS: Apologies if I still haven't gotten to that part of the video and it it covered.

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  Год назад

      Hi, it's okay with larger toys, ones that are at least 2-3 in height it will see them. But I still found the odd little lego would be an issue or even a low lying cable. It's much better at things like shoes, socks, a cats food bowl etc.

    Ecovacs robot are actually good, but because of my anti-Chinese product bias I am rooting for some other brands to step up more 😀 but I have to say, that T9, T10 and X1 lineups from Ecovacs are legit

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  Год назад +2

      They are legit good. This is so far one of the best I've reviewed yes and they keep betting better from all the Chinese brands. Other brands non Chinese are falling behind.

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  Год назад +1

      For just vacuuming there many good ones from ecovacs I've reviewed liek the N8. Just make sure it has Lidar and bristles on the main brush and you should be good.

      I wouldn’t do that if I were you… Without a doubt the best performance [particularly on carpet], and coincidentally the best bang for your buck vacuuming only, is the old Xiaomi, and then if you upgrade, it is the Roborock S5, & finally the Roborock S5 Max. Happy to debate any Experts Only that may have been misguided.

    Which model you suggest when compared with N10+ and T10 OMNI !! Or any other brand suggested?

    • @aarongoldschlager3599
      @aarongoldschlager3599 Год назад

      T10+ spinning heads and self wash offers a superior mopping performance vs N10+ oscillating mopping pad which you will need to wash frequently. The T10+ is much faster, with significantly more downforce in mopping, and while there’s some time loss in frequently returning to self clean spinning heads [not sure configurable or not] it results in a much cleaner mopping result.

      @Techtablets  Год назад

      No it doesn't have that feature but it will not mop over carpets and rugs.

    • @aarongoldschlager3599
      @aarongoldschlager3599 Год назад

      I think that’s incorrect. It will run over carpets and rugs unless you draw-in 4-sided no-go zones. The Xiaomi X10+ will however lift mop over carpets and rugs.

    I just don't understand Why Ecovacs came out with this T10 Omni as it has NO water tank at all !! There are reviews that this T10 Omni kept coming back to the station to wet its pad to mop again again and again till it never stops its tasks at all!

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  Год назад +1

      Yes not water tank they prefer it heads back to clean the mops which means another few minutes cleaning the mop and then going back. But you can make it every 15minutes which worked fine for my house. But yes a tank inside would have been good.

    • @aarongoldschlager3599
      @aarongoldschlager3599 Год назад

      Ecovac N9+ has the added water tank function. It still returns frequently to the self-wash station; so no real solution. I don’t believe the return frequency is configurable, although you can configure the level of water it uses. Obviously this model doesn’t have Lidar or self-empty dust bin function. But Xiaomi’s X10+ does. I’ve also got iRobot M6 which carries a large water reservoir; but because it doesn’t return to self-clean it’s mopping performance is poorer, considerably slower, and doesn’t vac! It’s only redeeming feature is that it gets maximum coverage where the others frequently miss areas. The M6 never misses a beat!

      Lots of people are buying them these days and there are lots of different brands out there. As of 2019, 14.7 million US households had robotic vacuums, and the numbers are forecast to increase about 9% every year. The numbers are equally high in Europe, Asia, and South America, and represent billions of dollars in sales. For those in the market, these reviews are invaluable.
