- Today's adventure takes us just a few miles southeast of the Las Vegas Strip, to the town that built Hoover Dam - Boulder City, Nevada. This place is such a great slice of small-town America, you'd never believe it's so close to the big city! We're having breakfast at the World Famous Coffee Cup Cafe, taking a wander through the historic downtown, and stopping at Hemenway Park to say hello to the desert bighorn sheep and take a peek at Lake Mead. All in one fascinating and fun morning!

You inspired us last week to visit Mount Charleston. We drove up to the Lodge and took a multitude of pictures. This week our plan was Boulder Beach. You have helped us to get out of quarantine and explore while being careful. Thank you for your efforts to open our eyes. We vicariously explore through your tours, but now we are living the dream ourselves.

This what I love about your VLogs. You include a lot of places and things to do that many of us tourists would overlook. I don’t know how many times I’ve traveled through Boulder City and never stopped. I’m definitely stopping by Hemenway Park next weekend on my way to Vegas next weekend!

I was watching your wonderful videos. Thank you for coming to Boulder City Nevada. Our family has been calling Boulder City home since our grandparents moved here so long ago. My parents graduated Boulder City high school, we (my husband and I) graduated BCHS, our 4 children graduated BCHS and we hope someday some of our grandchildren will too.

We love the CoffeeCup and Milo's in BC! We even stayed a weekend at Milo's Inn on the 2nd floor! 👍
Not many people know about our Milo in upstairs from the restaurant and Wine bar! It is such a wonderful and romantic place I think we have four little bungalows and you get your Jacuzzi tub and a fireplace there's a little waterfall outside of the rooms the pond and even a barbecue so you can be right there in town and not even know it ! Shhhhhh It's a secret ha ha ha ha glad you enjoyed

I loved the first Boulder City video and I love the second Boulder City video! Never knew about Hemenway Park. One more for the bucket list of sites to see. I remember driving through town and there being less to see just a straight shot through before they built that go around on the 93. 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽❤️❤️💪🏽

Wow! What a great video guys. Love the beautiful palm trees in Boulder City, and the prices at the cafe. Definitely not Strip prices! The park was beautiful and the "wild lawnmowers" were a treat.
LOL wild lawnmowers - I love that! Yes, weren't those palm trees along Highway 93 gorgeous? Actually, everything about Boulder City is pleasing to the senses - it's that kind of place.

Wow! Those big horn sheep were amazing. They were just hanging out like no big deal. Breakfast looked delicious. I love family owned restaurants, especially diners.

The Coffee Cup is adorable! I’m glad I ended up waiting to watch until this morning with MY breakfast because that food looked delicious!! I wish I had seen Boulder City when I was there. So beautiful and historic I could have gotten lost in it 💕 That hotel is a gem. Nothing more elegant than an old hotel. And the sheep!! Such a surprise!! Beautiful animals in a gorgeous place! Believe me, I was utterly charmed by the bighorn sheep, and we spent quite a long time at that park. Did not want to leave!

Love it. We loved going to Boulder and went to the coffee cup a few times. Awesome food! I wanted to live there. Boulder that is. Went there in June when we had the last bit of cool weather. We took our shoes off and walked in the park with a view of the lake . Sweet memories there. It’s making me cry. We loved the museum too. Thank you so much

My wife and I Love your videos and always looking forward to your next. We visit Las Vegas often and always looing for new adventures. We will be there for two weeks in October and now plan on visiting Boulder City for breakfast at the Coffee cup and heading to Hemenway Park.

Those bighorns must be amazing to see up close. Bolder looks like a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the strip. We’ll have to make a day trip there next time we’re in Vegas. Stay safe you two!

Really enjoyed this video, so well done. We visited Boulder City last year and wandered around the Boulder Dam Hotel. We had planned to stay at the Boulder Dam Hotel this year, and are hopeful we can do so next year. Great views everywhere in Boulder City and at the Hoover Dam. Thank you so much for making this video. The Clark County Museum is another nice (cheap) stop on the way to Boulder City.
I really hope you can stay at that historic hotel in the future - we would love to stay there too! As for the county museum - it is a gem, and we hope to include that in a future vlog.
