Take off the black door trim on the bottom and see if theres any rust, a common spot too beacuse theres usually a lot of mud there. Its a really stupid place where to rust.
@@harleystillwell7519 Awesome thank you so much for the reply. Is it a special one you are using? it looks very gray which matches the car very well, but when i search for 3M rubberized undercoat then I can only find black ones. But maybe they turn grey when dry?

I actually just put those back on my car. They were missing for years from the previous owner. So it’s clean under there👍🏻

What colour did you use to paint the bottom of the fender? the gray textured one?
Its a 3M rubberized undercoat it matches pretty much perfect
