- Sea of Thieves remains an incredible experience for those of us who like to venture out into the unknown. The framework provided by the quests and the world is merely a routine, a backdrop of activities that allows the wonderfully unexpected and often hilarious to happen. It's a beautiful and incredibly realised shared-world adventure, and for many players, the question of what might be over that horizon remains as alluring as ever.

As another 'grizzled old sea dog' myself, I can tell you that the gameplay loop (for me) is no longer quests, digging for loot, or battling skeletons. It's about becoming the 'Thieves' in the title, and stealing from other players. Not for everybody, but that's what keeps me coming back.
As a n64 rare fanboy, no shame admitting SoT is Rares most successful game ever made. Well deserved
on sale for 20 on steam rn, tbh i think i need it a bit cheaper to want to try it
man i think im gonna buy it now cuz i dt that it will br less than 20€ and i've been wanting to try it for ages
I was okay with no levelling for PVP but I think they should have had it for the PVE elements.
how would you do that except with levels in the factions, all skellis are oneshot anyway and everything is easy the only thing that requires any skill is pvp
The game is a solid 9/10 but it is a shame they've made it all easy mode now, feels like they've done that for the PS people who need their hands holding in all their games
As somebody who's on the fence about picking it up on PS5 , what would you say makes you feel like it is easy mode now?
@@xxilovebeesxxk1078 they've added the ability to just warp travel to everything so you don't have to manually sail to places etc, which cuts out the entire purpose of the game etc
@WoodstarForges dude it's not warp travel and you can't just go anywhere it just gets you places faster then after that you have to sail because you can't dive with loot.

@@WoodstarForges you don't "warp travel" to EVERYTHING, you can do it once safely and that's it, you gotta sail manually rest of the way, plus "warp traveling" as you put it, is also a server change and why the hell would you want to leave your server if you are in the middle of something, who knows, maybe the server you get after your travel will be 50 times worse. so it's not like you would even want to use that feature in the first place.
