good to see the follow up mate, thanks for taking the time (Y)
Welcome! I felt bed after that video when I realized the par reading were not true to what they should be
Much closer to what I would have expected. Thanks for following up on this.
Welcome! Much better
👍🍻great stuff keep it up dude
Thank you!
Where did you get the mounting? Is this available also for bigger tanks? Thanks!
It’s part of my stand. Weleded onto
Did you buy the par meter? Good deal?
Not the cheapest par meter but it’s one of the best ones for aquarium leds (without getting crazy lab grade expensive)
You prefer the radion or the coral?
Coral care is far to new to say how it performs long term.
Does anyone know where you can buy these things or how much they cost

They will be launching in the USA around the first of September.
Still no ati straton? :(
nope, not released
£600 in the uk think people are going to go with house hold names though for that money!
Philips is the first household name brand to ever release a reef aquarium LED light in the USA. If I ask my parents, wife, or best friends if they know who Maxspect or EcoTech Marine are or what they sell, the answer is no, of course not. But if I asked them if they've heard of Philips and about what they do, they all would. Philips isn't new to the aquarium industry, either. They sold T8 bulbs for marine and freshwater aquariums until 2009. Were it not for Philips, LED may not have become the preferred lighting technology for aquarium hobbyists. The most popular LED lights from the most respected brands in the aquarium industry pay royalties to Philips for every light they sell. They're standing on the shoulders of giants to use intellectual property created by Philips' and conferred by the the US Department of Commerce in a collection of patents granted by the US Patent and Trademark Office.

With all the reviews we are seeing on this gives impression that its underpowered. Needs bit more pop and par numbers.
Seems like it will be a good light for a mixed reef, but lacks the power to get enough par to the bottom of 24in tank that is sps dominant
@@lowrollincaddy most of the reviewers are being very diplomatic about it.
Its a "safe" par zone.. would be hard to bugger anything up with it. on a larger tank you would get a bit more par from multiple fixtures intersecting light. Its certainly an interesting new addition to the reef lighting options.
@mr I was thinking the same. Realreefing did review on his 300DD and numbers are unimpressive.
