Hey there, when you set the 'Dynamic Vcore(DVID)' you also need to set the option above 'CPU Vcore' to Normal. It actually states that down the bottom too when you select it.
Thank you, this video helped me. At first I reduced the voltage and turbo power limit which unfortunately lowered my score by 498 points but lowered the temps by ~40-45%, this result didn’t satisfy me except the temps, then I set the turbo power limit back to auto and let the voltage only lowered, after that I got a satisfying result with ~15% lower temps. Here’s the result: *Intel i7 4790k* Before: D-Vcore: Default CPU CoreTemp: 98°-100° CPU Boost Power: ~116W BM Score: 5224 After: D-Vcore: -0.09 Volt CPU CoreTemp: 83°-86° CPU Boost Power: ~95W BM Score: 5257 Conclusion: ~15% lower temps with basically the same score, or a little little bit more.
@@CassioHayek I used Max 163 watts. Keep in mind that this could be different for you though, as my i5 13600kf max turbo is 181 watts, so I reduced that by 10%, hence the 163 watts.
Thanks to this video, I can play RobocopCity, render 3dmax without the fan being too noisy like before, other games still work well and especially the cpu temperature does not exceed 60, thanks for the video! It's a pity I didn't know this sooner, I've been using the i5 13600k for almost 2 years now.
my 13700f was set to 140w power limit with -0.0500V undervolt. The benchmark score is still the same as full power but temp drop about -5c from the first test. But in real world 3D rendering, the approximity render time increased around 4-5%. I use air cooler so it would be okay to sacrifice 5% of render times for lower my cpu temp. (I live in tropical country which weather quite hot all the time, without power limitation my cpu will reach 102c eventually)

I have the same motherboard and cpu and same temps. This too high for cool chip like 12100f. Dont know if the board is bad or bad bios update. Can you tell me if u have new info that fixed ur temps
@@youngruggedandraw6864 yes its not that demanding but if heat sink is not making proper contact Plus u have poor chinese RGB fan will sure cause Thermal throttle.

Triggered CEP. Without the CEP protection mechanism, you would directly experience a blue screen or errors. With CEP, the protection mechanism kicks in, causing the score to drop significantly. In reality, some cores are running while others are not.
In other words, your CPU's quality isn't good enough to handle such a large voltage reduction. There's actually another method: you need to enable LLC and choose a higher level. If you want to undervolt, enabling LLC is necessary to stabilize the CPU after the voltage reduction.

Yes its Safe to undervolt to certian value . Consider video for undervolting
so you limited power, but undervolt didn't worked, since cpu voltage was left on auto - should be switched to normal
i did not change cpu voltage i undervolt (dynamic vcore from auto to -0.10V) u can see it at 1:30
