Damn, your vanilla town looks better than so many modded ones! I agree with some of the other comments: a stadium district could be a really nice way to show off your transit infrastructure. Maybe a regular stadium next to a Campus DLC one.
Bro with this road infrastructure your literally hurting my fellings. It's so perfect. In my opinion in down town is missing a stadium because in Europe soccer is very popular.

The new residential areas seem to be missing some commercial zones, so they'll have to drive or get the tram to buy their groceries... bit of a shame, because the build is gorgeous as always!

Keeping the peninsula urban and natural is a great idea. A decently sized national park, forested and easily accessible to the public, just outside downtown.
I love how in the middle of the axis of pomposity, there is a ferris wheel. Interrupting a straight line of self importance, you placed an icon of frivolity. Very meaningful. Don't burnout. Come for a ride and breathe.

The city is looking incredible so far, but what this city needs is lore. Perhaps there is a neighbourhood somewhere near Downtown which is not as eco-friendly as the rest of it?
I've been playing this game since it came out. Pre DLC.
I haven't been good with the mechanics on vanilla and got lost with mods and created conflicts and crashes. So I put it away for a while.
Then, I found imperatur's builds. OMG!
Inspirational IF... big IF I don't expect to be as good.
You've given me hope that someday (never) I'll be 10% as good.

This man is just beyond a legend. He is a magician at this game. Even i with mods wouldn't have been able to make somrthing this great looking. Also i think that inthe mountains there could be a ski resort

Hey Imperatur. If your ever going to build a passenger harbour take inspiration from the Norwegian city Kristiansand. I think the theme of that city would match Evergreen. :)
How you play around with the terrain heights on the coast line is really inspiring. Thank you! The only thing i wonder is if you really need so many large roads in the city

The beach is a bit grim with all of those motorways so close. Some more trees would be nice too.

You just have to love a train ride along the shoreline. Speaking of Shorelines, its time to put in a nice beach front, and create some protective areas so that the waterfront areas do not look overrun by high-rises. Maybe add a camp site, hiking trails, and bike paths!
Side Note: You should do a City Skylines planning video, behind the scenes look on all the effort, steps, planning, and hard work you do before creating one area with in Cities. Maybe, we can get a better understanding of what it takes to be a Vanilla gamer.
Amazing work! But I think you should mix in some commercial with the high density residential I think the people need some shops/stores closeby.

You really should add an old town area centered around a cathedral, with good walkability and different transport options. This might be the best looking city I have ever seen by the way
I think some high-tech/IT buildings would be great for the peninsula. A little bit denser but still eco-friendly.

Doesn't the PC version have the concerts dlc? I'm currently stuck with console edition which sadly doesn't have it. Throwing down those buildings somewhere could add another layer to the city. Maybe mixed with the stadium for a massive entertainment district? With how you do things though it would no doubt be epic! Please keep the great content coming, man. These builds are simply mindblowing.
0:36 Because this feels like a fantasy US city, the county name could also be derived from the twin cities of Everett and Greenwich ... pronounced in New England as Ev'ritt and Grennitch. But hey, Neal beat me to the punch so Greenham and Everwich it is. 😀

Such a green city i love that! its a shame we can't use all these plants and trees as food and wood ressources for the districts. I think it is only useful for land value and noise polution IG😕(yeah actually like IRL...) You almost never use the european suburb style could be nice here later all around the city with few built on hillsides a bit like yours or württemberg. anyway love your style as always.
