In my opinion, this city could very well be located somewhere on the outskirts of Tokyo or another urban Asian city. The city is very modern and I think it fits the Asian urban city's vibe.

I don't think it looks so much like the suburbs of Tokyo because there are almost no vineyards. so i think central and southern italy and southern france are more plausible places

The city could be located in a small micro-nation somewhere on the Mediterranean coast like Monaco, a second option could be Scandinavia, I know the map is called Valhalla and the modern green buildings could be similar to those being built in that area.

If you are going to put in the Mediterranean (especially the west side) I’d recommend to look at the Game Just Cause 3, it’s a really nice mash up of the western Mediterranean that is easy to replicate in Vanilla City Skylines.

Wow i'm really impressed by the way that you are building. I've showed my roommate some of your cities, he studies urban planning. He said that you accomplish all of the important disciplines in dutch urban planning (high density, transit oriented, enough green, not car dominant).

I think Evergreen County could be located somewhere on the Mediterranean Coast, such as France. The green landscape with the vineyards gives a very French vibe.

If I could make a request, could you zone a neighborhood of the same thin 2x4 unit, 3 story houses? They make for nice denser neighborhoods while still being low density residential.
I liked the way you made those 1x2 row houses and the kind I’m invisioning give off that same feeling of an older neighborhood close to downtown.
This city could be a Mediterranean city because of the vine yards, but an interior city with a beach next to the river maybe. I think that it could be a city like Jaén, Trieste, Córdoba

The city, due to its mountie terrains and a lot of green stuff, should be located somewhere in Carpathians Mountains, precisely Austria, Czechia, Slovakia or even southern Poland.

This path, you build at 08:25 is not really necessary because it runs to a highway.
Wouldn't it be better, if it runs up to the hill and connect to the stadium? or even runs around until the recycling center?
I know haha at first i had it connected to the stadium but that looked ugly so i decided it was a pre planned path that maybe will be build along the road in the future

This could absolutely be Northern Italy or Southern France. However, this looks and feels like British Columbia in Canada. Master planned sustainable city. Love it!
It could really be based here in Bremen/Germany. I feel at home there. It's a big city with all the "things" like trams, trains, elevated roads, etc. but somehow it's also as green and beautiful as a village.
Wish I could be that skilled, very inspiring.

A bit late to the party, but honestly this city seems like it's a blend between a Central-West European city in the terrain, the map, most of the natural elements and the road layout, while resembling more modern Chinese, Japanese, and Korean city planning in the general style and atmosphere of the buildings, architecture, and transport infrastructure.

The vast expanses of greenery, rolling hills and quaint river gives me a french or swiss vibes. But the buildings and roadlayout screams developing asian city.
The town fits a bit into the Ahr or Moselle area in Germany, or rather the north of Italy, as well as the east of France. To me, the city seems very Central European with a touch of the South.
I bet it’s located somewhere in northern Spain/Portugal because of the vineyards and mountains in the background

Hey imperatur, love your content. Great and easy ways to set up cities. I wish I could see more of your videos everytime. But your music in the videos really put me off. Most of the times these music are too much for ears when I am actually trying to learn and see how the city goes. So please if you could keep this in mind, thank you.

@@mauriceskyliners9873 I love slow and soft typical music. But here I would rather love to hear the in-game sound of the game itself rather any music at all. Well there are some people that enjoy the music while watching the video. But I love more of the aspect of his videos' that how he designs and builds. So my focus is less on the enjoyment but more on the learning side.
