Hmmmm. 🤔. Strange that he doesn't portray Vanessa as an albatross in his art, as he referred to her to Keith Richards. And somehow represent the word "extortionist" in his portrait of her, as he described her to Elton John.
Probably because those comments were made in private, like many people do about their partners, and not meant as his overall vision of her, which is undoubtedly more complex.
@@brt5273 Granted, but "extortionist" is pretty specific, and, well, "albatross" is really bad. I can maybe, sort of, understand these words slipping off your tongue in anger, but you have to think before you actually write something down. When he met her while he was with Kate Moss, she got pregnant immediately, and he did the honourable thing (perhaps she did actually extort him?). Vanessa Paradis is the antithesis of everything Johnny Depp likes. She was a product of her deeply ambitious father who "pimped" her out and made a small fortune off a product which can only be described as a paedophile's dream song. She was well-known by people with no knowledge of real music when she met Johnny Depp, but was totally snubbed by the "in" crowd. After she trapped Johnny, everyone came aknockin' at her door. Why do you think he never married her? And he had been so bored by her that he snapped when he met Amber Turd. Et voilà.
And now he's putting her in his art in order to appease his kids, who are furious with him.
