I’ve been a long-time Samsung user but recently got a Mac/iPad for work so I decided to try an iPhone for the first time with the 15 and after less than a week it’s safe to say that I’m probably switching back to Samsung ASAP. I don’t hate the iOS interface, but the tipping point for me was the inconvenient punctuation on the keyboard and the fact that you can’t get notifications for the same app on both the watch and phone at the same time. I’m giving it a few more days to see if I can deal with it, but if not it’s the S23+ for me.

Same! I really want the 23 plus. I love everything about it but no way will I pay a thousand for it. I was hoping the phone fell to at least $7-800 but will just wait until Black Friday.
To be honest when you did your comparison for the Galaxy S23 lineup a couple months ago , you were right about the S23 plus is the better value but the price should be $799. I am little disappointed about the 15 Pro , it's still the same camera setup. In my opinion I will keep the iPhone 14 Pro for another year or two and get the S23 Plus getting on Black Friday on Amazon cheaper.
This is the second review of the 23 Plus I see that claims the phone only goes down to 48 Hz. Where does this misconception come from? If you turn on Developer Settings there's a "show refresh rate" toggle. My 23 Plus does 24 Hz when only static content is rendered, 30 or 60 if there's a video playing (depending on the video framerate), and 120 if there are UI elements on screen and when scrolling.
