- Hey guys, I compare the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus to the iPhone 15 Pro in this video. Both phones are very similar in their body and form factor. The S24 and S24+ are not really the same in terms of specs. The S24 has FHD with 8GB RAM, while the S24+ is QHD with 12GB Ram

I just recently gave up on iPhone. I traded in my iPhone for a samsung S24 plus. I'm tired of apple pushing for more storage and upgrading. I was deleting a lot from my phone and still always running to no storage. I don't want to be pushed to buy anything that I don't want to. My first ihopne was the 4 and I stayed with apple until yesterday with my 12. My mom always complained of the same thing. No wonder why they have the trade in deal 🤔. I had a samsung 8 edge in 2015 I loved it the quality, pictures and more. Now, I finally made the change.
I really love how compact the 15 pro looks, especially when you hold it 😅.
I still dont see how recommending the s24 plus is difficult. According to you, better battery, better display. Even for software updates, the s24 plus is ahead of the iPhone in that category. I'd even argue that the iPhone 15 Pro is less value for money when you consider the fact that you can get the 14 pro max around the same price as the 15 pro from amazon.

Dude it’s still an opinion video.. he isn’t telling u to get an iPhone or else your arm will be chopped off. If you like Samsung then go Samsung. If you like iPhone then go iPhone. I don’t understand what the arguing and fighting is all about lol. At the end of the day it’s just a damn phone with computer capabilities.. some people are sophisticated and like customization and some people are simple and don’t care about customization.. I had both Samsung and iPhone and I still love both. Reason why I currently have an iPhone is because I like their ecosystem like their Apple TV and Apple Watch which looks more elegant and fashionable than that of Samsung. U can rock a business suit with an Apple black steel watch and u look like a million bucks lol.

His opinion was given all these reasons the iPhone is better value for money, whereas all the reasons mentioned, almost all point towards the s24 plus being the better device. So I was just confused as to why the 15 pro is a better value for money when the s24 plus is ahead in almost every category whilst also costing similarly to the 15 pro.

Both Face ID and and the ultrasonic scanner can be bypassed by people who know what they are doing, or more likely, they’ll just force reset to factory so they can sell your stolen phone on…
S24+ has the bigger higher resolution display, the bigger battery. ALSO 12gb of ram and base model is 256gb compared to 128gb. So no they aren’t the same as the base s24

Just changed from i Phone 15 pro to S24 Ultra. Currently it's cheaper on contract with EE than the S24 plus 😂. It
told myself that I wanted the plus as I don't like the squared corners but having bought it I love it. I sold my iPad pro 11"M1 and watch Ultra, and got the tab S9 plus and watch6. All work brilliantly together just like the apple eco system.
I have both The Samsung S2 4+ as well as the iPhone 15 Pro Max, and I can truly tell you after taking lots of pictures and video, I absolutely cannot tell the difference. The 24+ is just as good as the iPhone 15 Pro Max with the camera improvements that Samsung did on this phone, your estimations are subjective
Good video and I know right now the s24 plus is $999 , but with Samsung there will be a sale so you can wait and pick it for less ,but with the iPhone pro it will never go on sale .

You say that you can’t recommend the s24 plus because the regular s24 is cheaper and offers the same feature set. Problem is, it doesn’t offer the same feature set.

Software features - yes they maybe on par currently, but I think the regular S24 will struggle with some future AI with 8GB RAM if Samsung bring any to the s24 range, just like the pixel 8 can't do some of the AI stuff that the Pro can because of a 'hardware limitiation' the only meaningful one in this context being the amount of RAM. Thats just speculation and I have nothing to qualify that against at the moment, but there could be disparity in the future.
Hardware features - (i.e. those parts of S24+ that are there highlighted as being desireable or a differentiator, which is different to specs in that specs are just the defined parameters that the device is built with, e.g. SD 8 gen 3, Exynos 2400) - there is a big difference, both in features and specs. Saying that they offer the same feature set is misleading and majorly discredits this review IMO as it indicates the reviewer doesn't have sufficient knowledge of the s24 range to make a qualified recommendation.
The battery upgrade alone justifies the price increase.
@Busterpeek21 The battery doesn't even need to be as big on the s24 to come close to the same battery life. Sure the plus has a lager compacity battery. However, it also drives a larger displays with more pixels. So what I'm saying is, when it comes to real world differences, not the ones only written in specs, you can often see a different outcome than those specs would allude to. Now is this the case here? Idk..probably not. I'm just throwing it out there for food for thought, I guess.

Just got an a24+ coming from an S20fe. I really love it. Not to say apple isnt better but I've never used apple. I pair it with my tab galaxy tab S7+ and I'm good.

The upcoming update for the s24s does mention overall better video quality, maybe they'll get closer to the iPhone

I think a better comparison would be the iPhone pro max 15 to the s24+. The iPhone pro max is the same size of the s24+, close to having the same battery size with the s24+, and I think similar mp for the camera. That said both have their own ecosystem that can be annoying to deal with. I’d rather have the Apple stores on the android, but then again I’m also invested in the Apple ecosystem.

A bit of a twist that the 24+ in the conclusion wasn't compared to the Iphone but to the regular 24. Not what I expected. And not recommending, after saying that pretty much everything but the video is better than the Iphone. Leaves a few questions... Maybe stick in your comparisons to the products you are actually reviewing to avoid such confusion?

I had apple for 8 to 9 years,after you buy an iPhone, Apple owns the phone .you can't do this,you can't do that ,you can only do what apple feel is best for you ,some does the thinking for you and force you to adapt they thinking like communism ,with samsung you're free to express yourself put your screen how you like and want it ,it shows personality ,you get treated like a grown up who can make their own decisions, with iphone you get treated like a toddler.

- I think it all comes to the preference of the user once again and with what they prefer, I do understand the resale value of the iPhone but you can also get the S24 plus for a cheaper price having certain benefits, like more battery, better display and powerful enough, if you can get the Snapdragon variant. There are pros and cons of each phone but for me which I'm planning to buy a new phone I feel more inclined towards the S24 plus this year because of display and battery life which I value way more and still having a premium flagship device; Ill be upgrading from a normal S21. But what I want to wait and see is for the release of iPhone 16 pro and iOS 18, given that it will supposedly provide better AI and customization features for the OS, making my transition to iOS theoretically easier, and also because of the leaks of some specs of the 16 pro that will supposedly be 6.3 inches with bigger and more efficient battery, new improved heat dissipation and battery system, better and improved display, in a bigger but still compact 6.3 inch phone. I will wait for those two phones to come out and see it Apple gives enough upgrades for me to change. Otherwise I will stick to Samsung.
Iphone has it's features and so does Samsung!! if a person likes all that good for them, But I love what Samsung gives me!! It's a win!!
