The 2 plus sized gals should thank her for moving to another seat since they had the option to stretch out ( nobody in the middle seat ) instead of copping an attitude and claiming to be discriminated. Stop playing the victim card and count your blessings.

Even putting the points aside, the problem with the credit card competition act is that the companies will just pocket the extra money, they won't pass it on to consumers. We already saw this happen with debit cards and prices didn't drop at all.

The two women had no business confronting her. They probably do that on purpose to hopefully get a row to themselves. Because if they were friends why didnt they get seats right next to each other?

If they did that on purpose then why did the confront the other person, seems they got what they wanted

If you are encroaching on to my seat on an airplane (or if I'm encroaching onto yours), that's a problem. And the longer the flight, the more of a problem it will become, especially if I'm not in the aisle seat because then I have nowhere to lean away from you. She was within her rights to ask to be reseated. Being overweight is nobody's business until you actually make it somebody's business.

Thank goodness. I was scared that bill was going to pass. Something to also remember is that if the swipe fees get lowered, retairlers are not going to lower prices. It's like when inflation came back down, retailers didnt drop their prices back down.

Yea... It's depressing cause once they make it cheaper on the businesses, they just pocket the savings and we get the usual until the businesses decide to devalue again.

Just try all of them by switching from service to another service every billing cycle after you watch the contents that you like 😂

Woman who switched seats is in the right. Airlines need enforcement for booking extra seats if you reasonably take up more than one seat.

I think she handled it great. I usually handle it before I try and sit down. The oversized people were wrong for confronting her. I'd just say look I paid for a ticket and I deserve a comfortable seat for the price I paid. I shouldn't be forced to suffer in silence because you feel uncomfortable about my right to the full width of the seat I paid for. If you want to complain about it, complain to the airline for shrinking the size of seats.

Airline seats are way too small

As usual "feelings" are more important than facts. Everybody's rights MUST be secondary to their feelings. If that's not ENTITLEMENT I don't know what is.😢

The two women should have thanked her for moving since that middle seat opened up for extra room for bags, a drink, and to stretch out. All these streaming services do add up, my favorite one is Paramount+ for the Beavis and Butthead episodes and a few South Park episodes.

Most Americans are overweight. Airline seats are too small, it’s an airline problem.

so airlines need to change their entire seating configuration just to cater to fat ass americans who can't control their portion sizes? you do realize that planes fly internationally and the world doesn't revolve around americans, right?

If you encroaching in anyone else or vise versa you have the right to switch seats if it is available I feel like she did it right if she offended her as far as the other two making a fuss over it they should let it go they get a little bit more room everyone wins case closed

No, being fat is a choice. If you are embarrassed, change it.

The average airline seat is designed for somebody 5 foot 8 inches. Is being tall also a choice?

      @@neutralsportsfan17 that’s a silly question and a separate issue.

It's the airlines fault, seats should be normal size intended for an average size person, not a 5 year old kid.
