First time I sow the video like this, flying in hall very attractive
    FANTASTIC KITE

Yes. Flying indoor is an experience on itself, totally different to fly using the wind.

    Beautiful, thank you Francisco!

I admit to not taking much interest in indoor/zero wind kites having too many outdoor to fly but your video and commentary captured my interest. Enjoyed learning the story behind this skilfully crafted kite. Thank you.

I became interested recently... about six months ago?
Been watching Glenn Mitchell's videos and I got curious.
More or less at the same time I was offered an Emong and a Zero-G in a really good deal.
I grew up in Chile, flying fighters. Was all I knew until about 4 years ago.
I was invited to fly indoors around 3 years ago... but at the time, it didn’t make any sense to me, so I declined.
      Now I am hooked!
I like that I can even fly kites in my living room!

Nice kite & video to match. I havent flown in zero wind in decades and back then it was only stunt kites with 2-4 lines on them!

      Thanks.
Zero wind has really grown in me.
And to think I used to think it was a silly thing…

Although I'm not a zero-wind flier, I found that very interesting, Francisco. Surely a kite manufacturer should take up Will's design and put it into production - that kite is too good not to be made available to more fliers.

Could not agree more. Will has detailed notes and templates and would like to pass his knowledge to someone that would actually put more Chiropteras in the air.
I would take up on the honor myself, but I have yet to develop sewing skills.

@@furiber4 The previous builders are sorely missed. They also sewed such items as the LL Rok, of which I have three, but no-one was available to take up the task when they left us.

I did not have the pleasure of meeting Pam or Mike. I do not remember having seen an LL Rok (i guess you have it on video)
But such is life, and that is part of which makes what each of us do all the more precious.

Your collection grows. You flew at Alliant, yes? Your commentary reflects a depth of knowledge and regard for Will and his work. Well done!

      Thanks, Glenn!
Yes, it was at Alliant. The club has an indoor session there, once a month.
Will was very kind as to answer some questions over email. I thought it would be good to share that info with the public.
Moreover, Will's work speaks for itself to those lucky to fly a Chiroptera.
Unfortunately, this 1st gen Chiroptera is not mine. But the owner, who owns three Chiropteras in total, lets me play with them whenever at Alliant.
For this I am really thankful.
