I was thinking of getting this or the Optoma UHD either 30 or 50 x strictly from movies because I feel like the highwomen fresh rate would be beneficial for 3D movies. Is that a good idea or would you guys recommend something else for the living room for night time viewing.
I'm looking for the best projector that will go with the new Xbox scarlet. What would you suggest that doesn't completely break the bank. Id tops out at around 1800
@@RKroese thanks man, but a little bit late lol. Bought the Aun Key 6, superb image for movies, but can't play anything due to the lag. But it was only 199 us dollars, so it's good!
8,4ms is also quiet low for a monitor. Maybe you are confusing reaction time with input lag? Most affordable monitors have a reaction time, also called Pixel response time, of 5ms, even the most gaming monitors have this, unless you have one of these expensive (1000$+) 2ms gaming monitors and that's just the reaction time. Input lag can't phisically be smaller than the reaction time, in fact you can add at least 1-3ms on top of the reaction time even at the best gaming monitors to get to the input lag, wich makes even really good gaming monitors have an input lag of 6-8ms. Most people probably play on 30ms+. Also, don't think you would notice the difference between 5ms and 8ms, 1ms means 0,000001s. It's a millionth of a second guys, input lags from 20ms+ are noticeable for real hardcore gamers. Most casuals won't even get the difference between 5ms and 50ms. If you have a noticeable input lag on your monitor or projector, you probably have 100ms 200ms+ input lag and maybe a small reaction time of 5ms(that's what the number on the box means guys, the reaction time never the input lag). Input lags that high are quiet common for modern tech, because of post processing, people want this ideotic "color correction" and stuff. That costs compiling time, wich makes up the input lag. Never turn stuff like that on, just think about it, it literally takes the image as it is meant to be an "corrects" it, dumb af. :D
Aye, the 8.4ms response rate isn't anything to do with input latency. It's also not that low for a monitor. Gamers complain of a 5ms GtG running on an IPS panel, which is why the pros will often go for a TN with a lower response rate, but horrible colour accuracy.
What’s crazy to get a projector that allows the new Xbox x/s to play all of its abilities ,with hdmi 2.1 cost between $10k to 25k that’s not a joke, there’s only one built by Jvc coming out in about a month..lol 25k to get 8k lol…..so really your stuck at hdmi2.0 and the same specs as the Xbox one x so why bother with the new Xbox x then…as there’s only a few TVs that can even play at 240hz vrr 4k or even 120 hz..it cost between $3k-6k for a good large screen tv to use all of the Xbox x functions most ppl don’t realize it… So it’s really only useful to play if your ok using a PC Monitor to play on…so you might as well spend a grand on a great pc 35 inch or 42 inch Monitor… Me I’m simply going to stick with my Xbox x with hdmi 2.0 and run 4k at 60hz 60fps as 99% of all games are running at this speed anyway, so again the new Xbox doesn’t even get used for gaming yet…so I’m not sure what the rush to get one is after thinking about it..
Aww man, first Trump, now this... you guys can't catch a break! 😉 But given that Optoma has released many of its projectors in the US there's still a good chance you won't be left behind.
@@ietsmetcomputers Don't think so. Optoma only claims 16ms lag on that one, it's probably not the same pj EDIT: Nevermind, it's the same one. All the same specs and everything. I was looking at the 60hz lag
S'alright buddy, this isn't one of them auction sites - you can just pay £699.98. www.scan.co.uk/products/optoma-hd29h-dlp-projector-1920x1080-hdr-120hz-169-3400lm-50k1-4k-and-3d-support-24fps-mode-hdmi
Just your operating system and mouse bus are going to be at least twice that. There's an article on it talking about how the Apple 2 and iPad Pro pencil are two of the lowest input lag devices, even compares to modern computers.
Interested in the sort of big-screen PC gaming experience only a good projector can offer?
Of course. We're watching your video???
how does the image quality compare to the GT1080darbee ??
Links to purchase options in the United States in the description would be useful. I can't find it for sale anywhere.
How can i add more color to my picture? I like vivid colors. Please can anybody help me.

Would you still prefer this projector over BenQ TH685 ?
Thanks brother

FAX! so boring watching this video.
What size of image would i get if I placed this projector 13 feet from the screen?
Check out the Optoma website, it may have a wall size chart.

how about showing actual footage when talking about the image quality instead of yourselves
You know what they say about 120hz... so does being hit with a big stick
Optoma HD29H= 3400 Lumens
Optoma HD29HLV = 4500 Lumens ;-)
Optoma HD29HST = 4000 Lumens but 100" from 1m distance!
Any idea what the LV stands for but?

Yeah it is. And it was quite a bit earlier and is quite a bit cheaper already. It's labeled as the HD27HDR. Same device.
