    The best part of this video is the music. Oh yeah, there is some roofing going on in the background too.

    wouldn't the plastic sheeting underneath cause the roof to sweat....one of the bigger problems now facing property that has been insulted as the natural vent is covered up?

    What happens when a tile breaks and water runs down the underlayment, there's nowhere for it to escape

    A whole lot of suspect workmanship going on here ,no RUSS Strip,no Seam Tape ,Yellow glue to Black glue rubber to rubber connections weve been told for 30 years to NEVER do because yellow glue isnt waterproof ,what the heck is going on here ? If i allowed my crew to put on a Firestone EPDM roof following these specs the inspector would fail the job .

    My flat roof has only 2 objects to get around. 1) a water pipe outlet from bathroom sink approx 1in from house wall. 2) how to flash epdm into house wall. Never done anything like this but builder wants £1,000 to do 4.5m x 3.5m aaaarrrrgggghhhhh. EPDM kit on eBay £500. Laura xxx

      I would strongly recommend that you hire someone to do it. Some places require certification for this system. If you've never done it before don't try to cut corners on the cost. You WILL regret it later.

      £500 materials plus labour and you think £1000 is expensive? I am sorry but welcome to the real world where tradesman charge £’s for their time/expertise not cups of tea

    • @paulos9304
      @paulos9304 3 года назад

      @@azza1793 not to mention the so called experts. It's not like years ago. Builders and the likes were good. To many thinking they are good when reality is they are shit. Proper shit. I'd say a third are shit at what they do. Gaurentee isn't worth the paper it's written on. Some do a great job. So there you go. Do it yourself that's what I'd say, unless your not in any way half decent at diy
