    Wisconsin law requires the no trespassing sign to have the name of the person giving the no trespassing notice on the sign. Here is what the WI statute says:
    943.13(2)(a)
    (a) If a sign at least 11 inches square is placed in at least 2 conspicuous places for every 40 acres to be protected. The sign must carry an appropriate notice and the name of the person giving the notice followed by the word "owner" if the person giving the notice is the holder of legal title to the land and by the word "occupant" if the person giving the notice is not the holder of legal title but is a lawful occupant of the land. Proof that appropriate signs as provided in this paragraph were erected or in existence upon the premises to be protected prior to the event complained of shall be prima facie proof that the premises to be protected were posted as provided in this paragraph.

    You know, living in the country isn't what it used to be. So many people have jobs in town and a little 2-5 acre property in the country that their are traffic rush hours now.
    My neighbors were ready to kill me over the traffic the farm was bringing to our road. They were right. Over the years I've moved every enterprise that involves people coming to us a couple of miles down the road and around the corner, on a major road that supplements I-80. We do the hay rack rides, but they depart from the commercial property, then over to the more quaint farm setting and quite frankly, I'm getting scared to do them, because of all the soccer moms who can't drive, they are going too damn fast, and not paying attention.
    i like to drive slow, looking at my crops, looking at my neighbors crops, and their is always some a-hole who comes flying up behind me. Road time between fields now requires an act of congress to achieve safely.
    They shouldn't be allowed to live out here, they don't need to be here, we do. LOL

    Ryan, Don't know if this is true for Wisconsin, Here in Florida we have to sign and Date our posted signs and if you don't they are not Legal and anyone can just walk on by. That is why 99% of the land owners here put up No Trespassing signs. Something else and I don't know if it is true for other States, But a Game Warden can walk on to your land without your Permission or a Warrant to do so, At least in Florida.

    • @lukestrawwalker
      @lukestrawwalker 3 года назад

      He puts sequential number tags one in each ear because they have a lot of problems with 'em losing eartags and so he can deduce what animal it is by the number on the remaining tag and which one they lost... Works for them... LOL:) OL J R :)

    Do cows clean themselves somehow, or do they need to have a heavy rain to clean off?

    • @maxsdad538
      @maxsdad538 3 года назад +3

      You don't eat the outside of a cow.

    • @lukestrawwalker
      @lukestrawwalker 3 года назад

      Cattle rub and scratch and lick themselves and go stand in the pond or creek and of course get washed in the rain LOL:) The mud is from the cattle working it up into a mire in the feeding and sorting pens any time it's wet, which winter and spring usually are. Cattle hooves are particularly good at cutting up the soil and they can work a wet area into mud two feet deep real easy. They pack the "bottom" of the mudhole tight so it tends to stay really muddy on top too. Just how it is... OL J R :)
