Charlie Hopkinson is a comedic impressionist, impersonator, voice guy, whatever you want to call it who specialises in voices from current television shows and films. His standup is a character act about a retired maths teacher, his standup set includes impressions of Sir David Attenborough, Robin Williams, Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Peaky Blinders, Tommy and Arthur Shelby and Gandalf from Lord of the Rings.
Always looking to update my roster I look to try out subscriber suggested impressions in the impressions challenge series before honing the best ones. Recently I have added Peaky Blinders and Marvel / Avengers characters to my arsenal!

I started learning impressions in 2012, at the age of 20. You can follow my full impressions journey in my new ‘How to do impressions’ tutorial series
After graduating from the University of Warwick in the summer 2013 he took 4 months out to concentrate on RUclips videos full time, including producing his most viewed video to date ‘Morgan Freeman and 40 other impressions’ with just over 12 million views. This foray into being a ‘full time RUclipsr’ was cut short as he went travelling for 3 months before starting a 2 year teaching Graduate scheme with Charity ‘Teach First’.
While teaching he has performed in and narrated the 4 episode series ‘Lookalikes’ as Morgan Freeman. The show and the narration received a positive reception. The show aired on Channel 4 during the prime time slot of Friday 10pm for three weeks. It is now currently available on Netflix. Charlie also performed with other well known impressionists for an unaired pilot.
Charlie has worked for several prominent brands in relation to their products, including google and formula 1.
Since the summer of 2016 Charlie has once again dived into the world of RUclips, for the first time producing content on a weekly basis. He is also focusing on live performance; he has performed in live venues a total of 3 times to date.

Dude I was just telling my gf this. I was like each episode Qui sinks further into his casual degeneracy. He’s got a sharp tongue, unabashed vices, a quick wit and down for anything while knowing man law/code-a true legend. Gandalf, Elrond and Boro are close seconds.

They're all spies. The Mandalorians are, in a biblical sense. The Israelites reached the promised land and sent 12 spies to see how well it was fortified. They returned, and ten of them said it wasn't worth it. Caleb and Joshua thought they could take it. They waited 40 years until the afraid died, so Joshua took up leadership, and the Israelites overtook the fortress. Not just the men, but the women and children, too! Anakin would be proud.
The Shadow Council was also spying on Gideon. I have high hopes that the missing mustache leads to Gideon being alive, and the Mandalorians are left with their blind victory when Thrawn shows up to put Gideon in his final grave.

Good lord. Did they really miss the mark exactly like nearly everyone last week? The show was called spies. They showed the one working for Gideon, and as he addressed the Shadow Council, they exclaimed that they now have an Imperial agent in every aspect of the new republic. [IE] SPIES!
The Mandos sent to scout the surface were the spies. This is in reference to Numbers 13 in the Bible. If I am not mistaken there were 12 Mandos sent to the surface. It's actually quite an interesting reference not easily caught unless you are familiar with the Old Testament.

Thank you Sir Charles for these gems. My girlfriend and I were literally just laughing the other day about how like each episode Qui sinks further and further into his shady casual degeneracy. He reminds me of a Deepfake Frank Reynolds now and I love it. He’s got a sharp tongue, unabashed vices, skewed moral compass, impressive street smarts and underworld familiarity, quick wit and down for literally anything ranging from whores, side bets, drugs, crime etc all while knowing man law/code-a true legend. Also appreciate how he always joins in and contributes to Obi Wan’s jokes. He less acknowledges his jokes but rather like an improv partner takes Obi’s premise like at 7:52 and adds something hilarious before a cut 😂
