Half Hour Aircheck of WCMW-AM 1060 Canton, Ohio from January 27, 1957 at 11:30-12 Noon. The Peoples Church Live Broadcast in Canton with Rev. E. M. Mortenson, Pastor..Several Congregational Hymns, A Choir and Trio Number followed by a message by Rev. Mortenson..Opening and closing of the broadcast are heard along with a Station ID at the end..I've added several historical News ads bout The Church, Rev. Mortenson, and WCMW (Now Catholic radio WILB-1060). I want to credit my friend Geoff Mears, local newscaster for finding this originally..

Thanks for this video upload. I think I read where 1060 WCMW was a Top 40-Rock Station at one time. I'm sure as AM declined with the youth moving to FM in the late 70s and 80s, the station had to find another format apart from what it is today.
