@@titeval8 I have a character whose aspiration is culinary, so I have them cooking all the meals. The roommates will often just ignore what they've made and cook their own when it's like "Wtf guys?!" Lol

@@misstsundere1019 Kind of. Its sounds more like someone is dragging a chair over woodden floor. It happend three times today. The good thing is that the noise shows up about 4 times befor the game crashes so i have enough time to save

You're not alone and that I having problems when in building mode it lags like heck.

I had this on the pc, i manage to fix it by knocking my settings down a tad before setting it back to where it was. It's worth a shot if you're on PC, though unsure it'll work on console
@@meikahidenori all my settings are on the lowest and it still happens😔 tbh im just giving up until its patched, wake me up whenever that is haha
(And yeah I'm on pc, it's not a super expensive one, but it can still run really heavy games with low chug and lag!)
I'm not having any issues so far (knock wood). Had a glitch where two sims tried to hug and their bodies and arms did some weird stuff, but I reset the Sim and it was fine. Supposedly they were going to fix the issues with the Sims idling before/after certain tasks, but i still experience that periodically.
Has anyone else been having the issue of The Sims 4 shutting down for no reason without warning? Just bam! Its closed?

I don't have any CC installed since before the update, and it's a new save file! Also I'm doing a rags to riches so there are almost no items on the lot. It's so frustrating agh
lag in build/buy mode and lag when going in and out of it is usual after every patch / new pack . As far as I have noticed atleast.

Staircases in my game seems messed up... it says "OP Generator failed" and my sims can't use them at all
Me too, I fix it by clicking the game options menu and exiting out of it, then it fixes any lag.

this is a really basic question and you might have already done this but do you have any mods in your game? If you do that's why, patches break mods and ruin the game, so you just have to remove them
@@gracestrange8251 Nah, these issues are present on every platform, so it's not mods causing it. The CTD will be getting a fix next week, and I guess it'll take them a few years to fix the freelance career.
I am on console, no mods l. Loud beep and crash.

According to the notes it says they ‘fixed’ the drawing pad but it wasn’t broken for me before the update and now it doesn’t work - my sims can’t finish any paintings on it
Yeah this shit ain't fixed. Putting my toddler to bed was a massive struggle and straight up wouldn't work with the eco living toddler bed. The sketchpad is broken: I do gain skill, but never have a finished product. And my sim now completely ignores the sink in the kitchen and goes for the one in the bathroom 100% of the time.

I swear townies dressed more real than my own sims. They had alot if random, but they were full of personality just by looking at the outfits, just how you would expect real people to be... Random individual fashions. Hopefully they don't all start looking the same.... That'll be worse.

Hey need to fix the celebrity one. When my sims go to the club and the dj would stop playing just to come and look at my sim!! They need to change that cause in real life that would never happen.

Sounds great! Too bad console players couldn’t get the emergency patch after most players games broke. Very disappointed.
PC players are experiencing lag and game crashes.
The karaoke bar has been that way since City Living’s release. It is made out of foundations, not platforms.
I'm playing on pc. I've tried making new families with pets and the game froze and I lost the family twice. Stopped trying that. But now it just crashes randomly and I'm losing a ton of progress. It was suggested to play without sound.... We'll see if that works. It's kinda irritating.
Is anyone else having the problem where it says “enable in game origin” when you try and purchase a pack when it’s definitely enabled. Because of this I can’t bundle the new pack and I’ve tried everything even uninstalling origin.

I have not encountered any crash and my game is updated and run with cc
Same, just make sure you copy all the game files to another folder before updating, just in case

They said they fixed the dishes issue way back... it's never been fixed and I'm pretty sure it won't be fixed this time round.
My NPCs still spawn with eyeball rings, top hats and weird sunglasses. Maybe they should just disallow accessories for random Sims altogether. 😕
Unsure about USEING this patch after reading what it's one to other people's games,crashes,broken games,and broken mods. Cringe at the thought of what it may DO to My game. N my playing plat form is X- box ONE console. Me: Cringe. Cringe.
Super excited for the small changes. I noticed, when my Sims became married, a book appeared by their name with info on it. Great little changes like that are always helpful!
Is this for real? I didn't get one. Where can you find the book?
@@byankachan i think it's sentiments, when sims gain a sentiment a book icon appears in the 'relationship' tab and it leads you to the new 'sim profile' where you can take a look at the sentiments

I keep getting an error code since it's been installed on my ps4 :( I'm seeing it's an issue for everyone since the update, but I'm kinda bummed out because I just bought some packs for the game :'0 hopefully they fix the glitch soon .p.

Have you tried to play with all the sound off? I heard that it does help keep from crashing, although there are still reports of it not working so 🤷🏾♀️ at this point I'm just waiting for EA to roll out with another update fixing it

@@moon-tq1lhI haven't gone into building mode since the errors happened, but the game was lagging in live mode. The load screens are also taking waaay longer than they usually do, which just adds to the stress of everything :p
And YET there IS STILL problems. Even MORE NOW. These Patches are causing way to many problem to ofen. This is NOT cool. EA still NEEDS to FIND a way. To MAKE those patches WORK RITE. N those HOT fixes do NOT FIX the problems. I KNOW I HAVE USED them. No good. This is really NOT cool. N I WAS looking forward to playing the NEW expansion pack too but now NOT going to Thanks or NO thanks to these awful New November patches. NOT until EA. Can Make them WORK RITE. And WHY DON'T people whom play on CONSOLE GET these so called HOT fix patches. NOT rite either. 😡🤨🤨

Even if gurus would’ve added platforms in all venues pretty sure everyone would demolish and put their own anyway so they probably just did that one to showcase. But I’m really pleased so far with the update I’ve been playing my sims4 and it’s a lot more fun with the sentiments and all the bug fixes.
Can they make it so that related sims aren’t flirty with each other...it’s weird

I think Planet Honeypop got updated with platforms because it already had a faux-stage. The original version of this lot, they used the old fake split-level work around where they deleted the floor inside the foundation. I can’t think of another EA build that had done this. Now I wonder what happens to existing saves where this lot has been edited or changed by plAyers?

@@azariazulu you've never seen a four yr old eat when they're trying to delay going to bed.😆 My eldest tricked her dad by asking for food before bed and somehow managed to still be eating and watching tv an hour and a half later (i went shopping so wasn't impressed she was still up when i got home. If its possible they'll stretch it out😆.)
the adult slippers also have new swatches, pretty sure cas got a great overhaul and alot of new swatches and general clothing fixes has been added. Especially outdoor retreat clothes for kids I THINK. Ive noticed alot of new swatches / clothes that are new. And great new premade clothing with new sims in the outfit pick category thing . ( To defeat the eyeball ring )

@@moon-tq1lh the moving out glitch. Like when the student gets suspended it'll count down to 0 and you still can't come back to the university. You basically have to drop out your student and wait a couple of sim days in order to get them back in
I highly suspect that the game is getting less adapted to "weak" computers with the recent updates. I keep seeing PC players reporting crashes. But the game has never been smoother on my PC these days. I think it's only because it's a high end PC Gamer I only dedicated to Sims 4. And all the players I know, who has high end stations dedicated to gaming doesn't have the crash issue too. 😕😕😕
I will be getting a new Gaming PC, and that the one I'm using out of date and that Nvidia game experience update Graphic driver no longer supports Asus ROG 20 JA series.
Well some of us can’t *afford* high-end computers 😒 I’ve been playing Sims since the very beginning (with the same level of computer) and I have *never* , I repeat, NEVER encountered so many lag and crash issues as I have with the Sims 4.
I swear if they make Sims 5 online and make the game even less accessible to *everyone* , EA and I will fight.
@@azariazulu I hope they don't start working on the Sims 5 yet, they should at least wait until 2030 or some time close because that'll be the time most computers that can run it properly are cheaper and thus those considered as lower-end computers can actually run it.
@@azariazulu Yes! This is what EA should understand. People with reasonable setups (even when it's not dedicated) should be able to play too.
They need to fix the windows bug because whenever I want to place one window i can’t because it’s stuck on automatic and before I could put one individually

Useless update. Nov 10th update crash many simmers game. All experiencing isolated crash game case. And I'm talking about NO MODS simmers. Because many people suggesting update ur mods blah3. Bulls**t some of us just playing vanilla version but still crash. How many times I've to say it's not about MODS.
After this update my game works for few minutes and suddenly crashes and my PS4 gives me errorcode: ce-34878-0.
Yess! They've fixed some things that I've been wanting to get fixed for a long time! The thing with the randomly generated sim outfits not being appropriate for the environment is one of those things.
Since I did the update, the game is crashed a little bit. After 10 to 15 minutes playing, the music and the conversations of the sims are suddenly stopped and you can't hear them anymore. Then, the game is turned off on its own without autosave. Is there anyone else has the same problem?

hey I don't think this video needed to be 10 mins of you reading and then 5 mins of you showing them in game, I would have liked to just see you talk about them whilst showing them in game, rather than reading and then showing, this video could have been shorter and more efficient. nice to see the features though.

I've discovered another use for the platform feature. You can add a small platform under a fireplace, to make a realistic looking hearth...texture with brick...perfect.
I think they heard me. I been spamming FIX FREELANCER on everything. Even submitting live chats to help with "Billing" just to say FIX FREELANCER. And it's like... The first bug fix listed. *Oops*
Has anyone else done the update and afterwards saw the "END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (eula)"? Are still able to play the game after ending the EULA? If you are getting gameplay are you able to use cheats, cc & mods?

Also, they should have added this statement to the fix about Unflirty Sims hugging children or watching parents hug or kiss their children. "It's not pedophilia, folks. We don't do that here."

Hallelujah! I can't add up the number of times one of my family would c*ck-block Sims trying to take a shower to wash dishes in the sink, wasting time dragging their dirty dishes all the way to the bathroom! I know that it's easy to form a line when party goers try to line up to wash their dishes in the sink, but that's no excuse. There is a dishwasher for a reason, folks!
People being excited that you can rotate columns 45 degrees really confuse me. We used to be able to do that before they broke it in the last big column update. We could even rotate them while they are on the corner of a building. You can't do that anymore. You have to just deal with however your columns decide to sit on a build. This is just them fixing half of a mistake.

Did they ever fix the living off grid bug? I stopped playing because everytime Id use the phone it would give my sim an angry moodlet for bad reception due to living off grid!!!
is anyone else having the problem where stairs arent working if the floor above them has been deleted?? like imagine a loft and the stairs lead up to the loft and the loft looks onto the lower floor. i hope that makes sense, but basically my stairs aren’t working anymore and they worked prior to the update. it’s very frustrating and i’m wondering if it’s just my game doing it.
Have you tried deleting and replacing them? Sometimes when they update certain existing objects have to be replace in order to work properly (i had to do it with the bin they updated to get it working properly)
idk if you guys got this but, my children sims hair kept changing color and I don't think that happen before, they're a vampire but I don't think that's the case

Well unfortunately since today or yesterday they have had a lot of complaints about the game crashing from PC and console users
The platforms are a bit janky to me, I wanna just place a wall without the platforms consuming the whole thing
instead of using the platforms tool try using the room tool in the meanwhile. the moment you change the platform height that way it'll be considered as its own room and you don't have to place down another wall. just wait until they update it

Ok sims always wash the dishes in the kitchen but if a sims was using the sink in the kitchen the sims go to another song so that was never a problem to me and never get a manny again the sims had a baby get a nanny to mind it when they go to work and when they get home there baby got taken of them because the nanny is useless

Bruh great video but they need to fix the crashing as of rite now on ps4 it won’t even let me get passed load game and crashes . And if it does last about 15 minutes and crashes non stop.

You can. If you look in the same place where foundation paints are, there’s a new selection for platform paints. There’s a good amount of options from what I’ve seen.

Nifty knitting - plossy doesn’t work when object is sold. My Sim is unable to send to Plossy. ( sorry for spelling)
I think that's an existing glitch prior to the update, I've had problems of plopsy interactions dropping out of the que when trying to post in apartments. It does eventually correct itself but I've had to swap lots in order to fix.
Still not enough to seduce me to play the game again though :/ :'3

Delete and re purchase. It eorked for me when I did that.

@@jxlescz719 I'm sorry to hear that. Mine wasn't giving any money before the update and replacing it helped fix it after the update as the bin wouldn't work at all (sims couldn't even put trash in it, and resetting the object caused other glitches)
