Oh Dear, yet more encouragement for me to get a heat gun... not exactly sure what I'd use it for - but it looks cool and useful... I'm so glad you're doing a collaboration with Nani of Sewstreased. She is Fantastic (you both are). The handbag is fantastic. I love all of the texture you were able to achieve with the mixed fabrics and flex-paint. Absolutely top notch. (Well, and your fantastic patrons too, of course) I *love* the idea of pliars! I had forgotten they existed as a needle-pulling technique! Do you have "ordinary" needles? I do hand sewing & the only ones I have found in walk-in fabric stores break & bend easily. When you did your studio tour, you hoped it inspired us. And, it did! I'm gradually moving my craft supplies into a beautiful antique dresser. It's not the same as your drawers, but, it's a nicely organized presentation; easier to find things & more beautiful to look at.
I have never watched Alien, nor do I ever expect to watch it in the future. But I have to say that that bag is perfect. And I look forward to watching Nani's video of how she made the shoes.

Love the purse, it looks quite ooze-like (which in this case is fantastic). The shoes are epic! Now what you need is a purse or wallet shaped like "facehugger" to velcro into the bag. It will make shopping even more exciting as you reach into your "egg-purse" to detach your "facehugger" so you can access your card or phone😂.
This is such a cool ideaaaaa your videos are extremely inspiring and they taught me so much about sewing! You are the reason I taught myself handsewing, you always make me ´question´my techniques (in a good way) and I absolutely love your creative perception of sewing and crafting.
