The worst kind of betrayal is from a family member.
Treason you get shot for that
Definitely
I agree with you 💯%.
Specially your mom. I had a wonderful mom, I can't imagine anything like that coming from her. 😥
The worst kind of betrayal is self betrayal.
I understand this so much. I was in a car accident at 17 and received a $300 thousand dollar settlement. I never saw a penny of it, my mom spent it all as I was struggling to learn how to walk again. That kind of betrayal from your own mom is really really difficult to get over
Are you sure they didn’t spend it on doctors bills? I’m sorry you were in such a terrible accident 🙁
😮😢
What makes it worse is being secluded, watch, control and no one believes you when you reach out for help. Or they don't know how.
@@kellymcdonell9687 Yes I'm sure. I found all of the records and my dad's insurance paid for every single bit of my hospital stay and recovery which was almost a million dollars. There were no leftover bills. Plus I saw the bank statements for how she spent the money afterwards. She spent $100,000 in the first 30 days of having that money. She put more money into my stepdad's construction business which is still flourishing today. The list goes on and unfortunately she was never able to apologize or own up to it when I confront her. I love my mom but it's just something I'll never get over
Maybe she used it to pay your medical bills etc.
There's nothing worse than being taken by your family and close friends. Betrayal changes you as a person.
Yes, deeply
Her abusive narcissistic mother should be in jail. This disgusts me. Narcissists are a pox on society.
She is a thief. We don't know if she is a narcissist. A narcissist is not a blanket term for any and every bad person. There are probably other terms for her, but thief is the only one that we are hearing here.
@@skontheroad It's ok if you don't understand personality disorders.
@@luminyam6145 Then why don't you educate us on how you have diagnosed a person, third hand, who we have only heard 90 seconds of information about... 🤔 Because THAT would be oh, so professional!
@SK Ontheroad It would take much longer than a comment on a video to educate anyone about Narcissistic Personality Disorder. The only reason I did for myself was for self preservation since I am what is known as a super empath in Psychology; and had a Borderline Personality Disorder as a mother and a Covert Grandios Narcissist as a father. I can reasonably say that I know as much as anyone alive as to the symptoms and traits of these people. They are pure evil and will never change. From the video, I could honestly say that IF her story is absolutely true, then her mother's behavior exhibits classic behaviors of someone who has Narcissistic Personslity Disorder.
@@skontheroad If you don't see it, that's ok.
Her mother needs to pay it back, and should get jail time.
She would have to press charges is my guess. And it’s hard to convict someone when both their names are on the account and one gives the other person the right to spend the money.
Hopefully Jewlery is taking action just not publicly
@@AlexAndra-iy5zu❤❤🎉😂🎉❤🎉❤❤❤❤❤🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉😅😅😊
How exactly would she pay back a $100million
She speaks of her parents in the past, I wonder if Mom is no longer with us? That would definitely be difficult if true, hopefully she has been able to confront her. Her mother plain and simple sounds like a psychopath or sociopath! 🥺

Such sappy bs. She needs to be removed from the earth not told she lost her biggest treasure…..this soft way of dealing with problems is why the problems are getting worse. All this history to learn from and we live in a society that is ignoring it all.

The worst betrayal in life is when you found out the one you trust most and love can turn on you in an instant.
It is indeed. I have experienced it first hand. My heart has been broken along with the trust, plus my sister poisoned my brother against me so she did double the damage. Now there is no family left.
Such a lonely feeling.
But you are Not alone! Jesus knew what you are feeling and His Word says He was acquainted w. grief!
Remember Judas?
The spirit of a Judas
In some ways, it's safest not to trust anyone. I mean don't get your hopes up to high with humans. Animals are another story.
My mother also stole over 500,000. It’s been very challenging to come to terms with how little she thought of me to do this. I decided to stop speaking to her five years ago. Distance over disrespect 😢
sounds like she enjoys "playing the victim". Blaming everyone else for failures in her life. And I also don't ever believe someone screaming "abuse" when (conveniently) the alleged "abusers" don't have a platform to defend themselves and tell their side of the story.
@Topsey Kretts REALLY! SHE TOOK THAT ABUSE AND DID SOMETHING POSITIVE FOR OTHER CHILDREN!
@@topseykretts7608 ~ it's really easy to get your own "platform" it's called RUclips. 🙄 & That's a pretty bad excuse where you are blaming a victim. I suppose she is also the one that forced her father to drink.
And she is pretty far from being a failure. That sounds more like the adults in her life especially when you steal from your kid.
And yet you didn’t make a tik tok about your mom - good on you.
@Queen NitaBo That's a good one

My mother beat me, betrayed me, & worse.
I was at work when a highly psychic guy stopped to talk to me, he told me I had to forgive my mother. She died about 6 weeks later. Then he said; "You give out love, oh, but who better to give our love than a person that never had any?" (We have to learn to forgive.)
@@22sojourner The hard part is as you get older, you wish you could confront her with all of it for your own peace of mind. I always wanted to know how mine totally did nothing for me after my sister was born. I was 8 years old. I became her maid.
@@kathybrigger9431 I agree; forgiving my mother was one of the most challenging things I've ever done. For years, I fantasized, saying ... I remember those things you did to me!
It felt impossible to forgive her; I was still trying when she died. I was half asleep when she did what she always did to wake me up, poke me in my right side. I was brief, saying, "I hope you're happy now that you're on the other side."
I didn't want to, but I had to forgive her.
I realized her mother was cold & distant. Her mother told her, "I have no use for girls." And there were other small clues I recalled her saying that led me to the inescapable conclusion that she had been abused.
Seeing her life from her perspective was the key to my understanding.
From my heart & soul, I wish you the very best in dealing with these difficult life lessons. Peace, love, & healing to you & yours.
The ultimate betrayal is when parents use and abuse their children
Yes it has happened to me and still is. It is devastating mentally and physically.
Thank you for understanding that. There are a couple of profoundly mean comments here toward people who’ve been victimized by parents.

Another reason to LOVE JEWEL. Mothers can be downright evil but pretend to be 'caring' while actually being master manipulators.
Jewel has always been awesome and unproblematic. I’m so sorry that happened to her 😢
My sister stole her daughters trust that had $150K. Her dad set it up for her because she has cystic fibrosis and he wanted to make sure she would have that safety net. I found out and my sister didn’t have any remorse. I helped my niece get in touch with her biological dad to tell him what had happened. He gave her 90 days to return the funds or he would press charges. She had to sell her farm and really downsize to get the money back. Still to this day, she doesn’t feel bad at all. Obviously, I have nothing to do with her. She’s very toxic and has done horrible things.
Good job all this bad behaviors need to pay back, same as they were thinking was right 😫
Nothing hurts more than pain you received from your family especially if it's deliberate. This is really sad on so many levels.
As a mother, I’m sorry for your mom. She lost the most precious and wonderful thing. Blessings and love to you.

“Calm soft” mothers aren’t always what they seem to be. I experienced that kind of abuse. Yet, I had to wake up when I got physically ill and realised that my own mother and my abusive violent sibling were clearly planning to knock down everything I ever worked for. They’re greedy; not only abusive. They wanted full control in order to torture me, the very same way they did before when I was much younger.

So true
My own sister who is an attorney had me removed from a Will that my Godfather had left me a house. She is one of the darkest humans that I know. Like Jewel, I trusted my sister and looked up to her growing up. It is a different kind of anguish.
April 2023.
Family will shock you and break your heart when money, antiques, family heirlooms etc.are involved. The greed they have hidden most of their life comes out like a shapeshifter and changes their personality so much you hardly recognize them anymore.
This recently happened in my family and it has taken a sad toll on everyone. It seems THINGS are now more important than relationships. 60 years of being close friends and supporters of each other, now gone.
And all because some of the family members preferred the THINGS that were left and the decisions that they could make. If anyone out there finds themselves In a position to share your parents stuff or figure out what to do with it after they are gone, please find a way to divide it up without losing your siblings. You won't regret it. Thanks for listening.
I learned sisters or family members will stab you faster than you can say it when my mom passed away. In 2020, I lost my all of my family besides my kids. I’m a middle child and my sisters took things without asking if I wanted it. I was left with very little of my mom’s. The house was to be used by all of us as a hunting lodge and holiday gatherings, but my sisters put alarm system code that I don’t know.
She is the bad guy she didn't put u first she allowed you to be abused. Selfish
Revenge is a dish served up cold, we all know the saying dog eats dog world we live in it works for female dogs to, it’s sad you’ve had to suffer that way, but what goes around does come around , ( with a little help ) 👍🤪
Get a lawyer and fight it. Do not wait and do not ever believe anything she says. I had to get a lawyer. I know of these things. Do not wait run!!! My lawyer even said why did you wait so long. Don't be like me run to a lawyer. A little something is better than nothing. And she'll have to go to court and explain her actions.
That is so horrible. Such a betrayal. To steal from your child is wild, and the entire $100 million too. There was more than enough wealth, and she stole it all...when she didnt have to steal a dime. I'm sure Jewl would have even given her a fair portion or made sure she was extremely comfortable regardless of their tense relationship. The fact that she stole the entire $100 million shows she was beyond cruel, and a true Narcissists.
Sounds kinda silly. How could she steal a hundred million dollars without her knowing? This makes no sense.
Maybe her mom told her that she would handle the money 😮until she found out that she owed 3 million!!

I feel like this same thing is going to happen when my mom dies. Multiple family members have accused her over the years of stealing their inheritances. No one paid attention to any of it because she plays innocent so well. Then she stole mine when my grandma died. And now I know for a fact that the rumors over the years were in fact true. She still has the wool pulled over my dad and siblings eyes. I’ve been trying to speak up for years but she’s told them all I’m crazy and I’ve hurt her so bad, so no one will talk to me. I believe that when she passes, they will all find a lot of shady things she’s done. That mother wound especially for woman is do deep, when we find out our mothers where not who we thought they were or who they should have been. I’m almost 45 years old and still struggle to forgive her and move forward sometimes. It comes in waves usually. ICF serves hundreds of youth in-person and millions online. 95% of students in their Leadership Program have earned college scholarships for academics & athletics (tennis) to some of the best colleges in the US. Parts of the program are now being duplicated in 22 cities by other non profits.
And yet you turned things around and are helping youth. You really are a jewel!
Took several years for me to accept what my mother was/is.....the first cut is the deepest
I would just like to thank my mother for being the human being she was. Miss you Mum and very proud of you.
Jewel, you were a lifesaver for me in the 1990’s. So amazing that you’re sharing your story of your parents. It’s been flabbergasting for me, as well, to discover the hidden, shadowy parts, of my own parents. It helps so much that you are sharing your experience. Thank you ❤
wow😢 Betrayal from anyone is crushing especially if it's your own mom, Prayers for her to rise above and find comfort in peace
what an evil mom! jewel you are a gem
I’m so sorry for her. It’s the deepest cut, betrayal by a parent, sibling or partner. 😢
I'm so sorry miss jewel, you are truly a jewel, a very strong woman.
Take her to court and see if you can get property or something back. This is such as shame. It's like parents need to have someone overseeing them. I swear, every family should come with an assigned mentor, mediator, life coach, spiritual leader or cps case worker/social worker. Jewel looks beautiful by the way.
Jewel will be blessed. Things will turn around for her.
Strong , smart woman. I hope there’s some sort of universal conscience that will send some justice her way
I lived with my father and grandparents for 10 years taking care of them. Driving them everywhere they needed to go because none of them could drive. I helped them bathe near the end when they were sick, I did wound care on my fathers feet everyday. I basically took care of their every need. My older sister was out traveling and having fun while I took care of all 3 of them. They all 3 died within months of each other. Near the very end my sister came back around after being absent for years. I was devastated and having a rough time with it when they passed away and my sister and her husband swooped in and took control of everything. They left me with nothing. All their money, which was a considerable amount, 3 homes they owned, their car, everything. She sold the home I lived in with them for the entire time I cared for them leaving me homeless. She even took their 10 year old car that I drove the entire time I took care of them even though her and her husband both had brand new cars. She left me homeless and without a car to drive. I never dreamed she would do all that behind my back. It feels worse when your wronged by family than some nameless thief because you trusted them.
I'm so sorry
What a horrible hateful b***h.
You mean to say that none of the 3 adults, your father and grandparents, had a will??
Yet you lived with them and never once urged them to get one at the end of their lives??
That was your first mistake.
Your second mistake is not dragging your sister to court!!
Grow a spine!
@@ellejohnson2817 Nope, it's Amber.
We all answer for our sins they will have to answer for theirs too you are the better human being I hope you know that for what you went through I hope you find peace of mind ❤
Melanie, the exact same thing happened to me except with a brother. Exact same thing. It’s devastating. I had given my brother so many chances. I was so good to him. I never thought he would do such things to me. I will never speak to him again. He took my entire inheritance + all the things you said.
You're an extraordinary woman and singer, you will regain your financial status through your work, because you're empowered with a gift and dedication. Go ahead girl hugs
Ummm. Who are you talking to?
Sorry to hear the pain you had to go thru , Jewel... happy that you form yhe youth foundation as it will help youths have a safe place to learn and grow and feel safe❤
I Absolutely Love This Woman. Strong and True
I'd file charges against her.
Good grief her Dad was outwardly hateful and her Mother smiled sweetly and was just as hateful , what horrible parents.
I seem to recall reading almost 15 years ago that she called her mother her best friend and they had the perfect relationship.
