Poonjar dynasty പൂഞ്ഞാർ രാജവംശം- பூஞ்ஞார் ராஜவம்சம்) was one of the royal dynasties in Kerala, descended from the Pandya kings of Madurai. The Poonjar dynasty was established between 1160 and 1750.
G.V. Raja - father of Kerala Sports, PR Rama Varma Raja, P Kerala Varma and Gopa Varma were important persons from the Poonjar dynasty.
Kannan Devan Hills, Idukki district and Kothamangalam were part of this Poonjar rajavamsam.
