    kb should be placed in front of centre of gravity so it swings back, not below so you muscle it up from basically a dead stop. the swing back will then be more pronounced, allowing the practitioner to shoot the bell forward in classic ballistic fashion (i.e. not grinding it up). a bigger, better and more elastic swing will allow the practitioner to recieve the bell in the true rack position i.e. with elbow in, sunk onto the loaded hip. done in this way you can clear more weight, faster, safer.

    Soooo not to be that guy but technically that’s called a dead clean… still a great skill to have I do dead snatches on my snatch day and hell of a work out… but more importantly she has to keep that elbow tight… I’m a skilled amateur at kettlebelling and even I just hurt my left shoulder cleaning a 24kg… when reps or weight goes up we can get sloppy and sloppy= injury 😢
    Keep that elbow tight so you keep your shoulders happier

    Vid shows a " swing " style clean....cleaning from the floor or rack have no backswing....the elbow tucked into the side or ribcage is a difficult position for a lot of folks to maintain and achieve....

    Ouch, another horribly executed demo. Really cool background and awesome-looking subject, but the execution of the exercise is absolutely horrid and incorrect.
