@@retiredsnowbunnyhunterx5106 Yeah I change oil every 5000 miles I’m thinking about changing my transmission fluid at 120,000 idk yet I’m still 10k miles away and some mechanics say the shavings from the old fluid is good for the transmission and some say it’s bad Haven’t done the pcv vlave I’ll look into that
@@anonymous7678 yeah. It has valve timing gasket issues and rear main seal issues. PCV valve on the valve cover and under the engine get blogged, internal blow by pressure gets critical and blows the rear seal along with all the oil. It’s a good car. Just baby it
This is one of the most reliable cars I’ve ever had I own a 2017 and have zero problems with it
ur smoking it lmao
@AmericanUNCENSORED2.4 115,000 miles
@@davidvicario4952what u mean
Too soon to tell
That was actually pretty damn good!
what i like to hear :)
Not only did it get up to 60 pretty fast but it sounded kinda good doing it
Love this car bought no problems for over 60k miles so far
You better change oil and pcv valve more frequently. Outside of that it's a good car.

I bought one, drove off the lot, transmission crackled and broke. Not kidding
Bro nobody cares why u commenting so much 💀
My dad had a 2011 LS. In the 6 years he owned it, it had 3 transmissions, 2 engines and multiple oil leaks. Nonetheless he used it very heavily.

@@anonymous7678 and constant oil checks. It loves eating oil
@@anonymous7678 thanks for your kind reply :)
Im thinking about getting one didnt know they snuck 300 hp under these
Is it just me or do these 3.6 Equinoxes sometimes sound a tiny bit like 4 cylinders above 5.5k rpm
I agree, they sound weak at high RPM
@@Quicc Lol yeah, nice video though 👍
i have a 2009 it’s reliable as hell
I have 2017 such an amazing car
I’m the not so proud owner of the same pos, i feel ya…
Check transmission oil level or transmission shift solenoids...
What’s wrong with the trans? Seems to shift a little weird
It slips a lot at medium-high rpm, it's under warranty its just a matter of time to when it actually gets taken in to get fixed.
@@Quicc Oh gotcha. That’s a bummer man
@@namesdom we'll get her fixed, next is exhaust mods 😈
@@Quicc Lol. I’m not one for exhaust mods but I’d bet it’ll sound pretty good with that V6
@@namesdom I'll definitely post it when I install it. I'm planning on a resonator delete with a cherry bomb glass pack.
Transmissions are junk in equinox 2010-2017 due to supplier defects
I've never had an issue with my Canadian built equinox
I'm nt seeing a problem 😕
V6 sucks 😂😂 LS swap? Hahahah put a real engine maybe
It’s a compact suv bro it could have a 4 cyl and it would be fine 💀
