Our Nation's Forefathers despised political parties and warned of the situation in which we find ourselves today. Robert F. Kennedy should be on all 50 Federal ballots (+DC) along with ATLEAST eight other Presidential Candidates. Federal Ranked Choice Voting with a maximum of three choices insures a proper balance of power for choosing our Executive Branch. This would insure the electorate has options in which they desire to for FOR, rather than simply Party candidates they want to vote AGAINST. No President should be declared a winner without the support of a majority of the population and 270 votes within the electoral college. The two-party duopoly is simply a result of a flawed political system which is admittedly "rigged" from a majority of representatives within that same system. Clearly, RFK, Jr. is the only logical "outside" choice to establish unity and balance in 2024. We need to avert further division and the possibility of escalating civil unrest. Healing America should be the consensus we should all be seeking. RCV NOW!

@@tobetheanswer Great information! The two party system (which is bullshit)..., has ruined this country, and more importantly it's people. Government policies implemented at a whim, insane inflation, out of control spending with absolutely no accountability, the war machine and military industrial complex, big pharma, and one could go on for days. What we're seeing with Kennedy and the government's illegal and strong-arm efforts to silence and marginalize his candidacy, is reason enough for any American to question their allegiance to either party or their candidates. The time is long overdue for a televised 3 way debate with "all" candidates. How Biden can justify his not publicly debating his actions of his administration over the last 4 years is beyond ludicrous. Trump? Trump's actions publicly speak for themselves, because we all know he's a bully, a loudmouth, a shyster, and a vicious liar. I'm LMAO as each state gives RFK Jr. ballot access, as well as the Biden & Trump machine's efforts to discredit him. Talk about playground antics!

I disagree. RFK supporters fear long-term consequences of constantly succumbing to short-term fears. Those long-term consequences are essentially authoritarian policies manufactured by a media-state-corporate merger which RFK has spoken about at length. Everyone is driven by fear, but fear clouds logic when it's focused on short-term preservation rather than long-term preservation. Case in point: "Vote Biden or Trump will end democracy" is a short-term fear without any logical basis. As RFK has stated, we have enduring mechanisms in this nation that will keep Trump or Biden from ending democracy.

Spot on! One of my favorite RFK JR excerpts from his independent candidacy announcement supporting this:
"And because I’m independent of both political parties, I’ll be able to enact bold policies that are outside of the partisan conversation. Let me be clear though, being independent of the two political parties does not mean making them my enemy.
Dogmatic opposition is just as much a form of dependency as dogmatic loyalty. As president, I’m going to work with officials from both parties who want to join me in serving our nation rather than exploiting and searching for partisan political advantage. Every President enters office promising to unite the nation and to work with people from the other party across the aisle.
None of them ever does it. They can’t. They already chosen a side. Well, I’m not going to have that problem. I’m going to build coalitions from both sides of the aisle." - RFK JR

In quick, random order, here's some of my reasons for supporting RFK Jr...
-genuinely wants to unite the country, and he has the ability to, being liked by many different 'types' of people from across the spectrum of issues and ideas, who are tired of the 2-party duopoly
-calm, humble, has integrity, has courage, truth seeker in general, thinks for himself (not a DNC/RNC puppet)
    -not phony
    -incorruptible, cannot be bought
    -thoughtful and introspective
-deeply considers problems and possible solutions
-wants to get rid of 'Citizens United' and the power of the big private money controlling government
-vocal about putting an end to corporate capture over government (pharma, banks, oil, military industrial complex)
-wants to get us out of 'forever wars' and to pull back on and expose the corruption within the military industrial complex
-wants to pull back NATO and resolve the Ukraine problem via negotiations
-vocal about the dishonesty and agendas of commercial media
-wants to abolish all pharmaceutical advertisements on television (this has major influence on the 'news' narratives)
-wants to keep the pharmaceutical industry honest with safety testing, transparency, etc
-wants to get rid of government assist crony capitalism and subsidies for big ag, oil, etc
    -advocate for civil liberties
-vocally against censorship (will free Snowden and Assange on 'day 1')
-against mandates and police state-like policies
-classical liberal sensibilities with respect of others (without the 'woke' or fake identity politics)
-vocal commitment to transparency regarding FBI, CIA, NSA over-stepping and out-stepping
-passionate about environmental and ecological concerns
-passionate about cleaning our food supply and exposing the unhealthy ingredients in processed 'foods'
-wants to bring preventative health more into public discourse; nutrition, exercise, etc
-will immediately close the border (this is not some republican scare issue, it is a very major issue - for many reasons)
-has an excellent plan to make homes affordable for all, including a program that backs mortgages at 3% and a tax structure to keep Black Rock from continuing to buy everyone out (this also will bring rent cost down dramatically)
-due to his family/background, he's well-learned from the inside of the various power structures
-due to his decades as an attorney successfully taking on major corporations, as well as government regulatory corruption, he is exceptionally well-suited for taking on the myriad of corporate capture over our government

As someone who as a veteran, has watched this drama unfold -- and read quite a few of the Times hit pieces against RFK (journalism was not well represented in the vitriol presented as 'facts') --this is the first time I have heard a straightforward piece of reporting from the Times. Bravo! Here are a couple of things the Times and others in the legacy media do not get about his candidacy: many people young and old who do not vote regularly are attracted to his approach that avoids the 'hate and fear' politicking of both parties. And that seems to be the main focus of Biden and Trump... fear, fear, fear (vote for me because the other guy will destroy democracy).... For young people especially, that is unappealing. The other thing that they don't understand is that the DNC attempts to destroy him and his candidacy via Lis Smith and others with the lawfare and legacy media parade of hit pieces, is inevitably going to backfire. It simply cannot work long term for the next six months. They only smear him or ignore him in the Times, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, Vanity Fair, Daily Beast, etc. etc. -- and it is noticeably extreme. The proliferation of hate and vitriol that they exhibit will drive independents and others to actually LISTEN to RFK, to see if he is really the 'crazy lunatic to be hated' narrative they are pushing (it is TDS all over again). And when people actually listen to what he has to say, they generally like him A LOT, and they realize there is a highly orchestrated attempt to block and disparage him. And since they cannot keep him off of the podcasts where HE IS allowed to speak, millions of people in the next six months will be hearing him, appreciating his good points, and voting for him in November. BTW, the documentary about him (blocked by Facebook and Instagram), 'Who is Bobby Kennedy?' that was released a day ago, now has more than 14 million views on X alone. And will get many more in the next few days. If the legacy media was wise, they would let him speak and let democracy have a run, without their attempts at control and manipulation. We will see how it all plays out...

Love the VP pick, we need someone who understands tech to battle what's coming. Nicole has the skillset kennedy is missing in his administration. As someone who works in automation and AI, I can tell you not a single person in the white house and congress is qualified to understand or bring the right experts in to fight for the people. All congress/biden/trump would do is bring in their "expert" and get taken advantage of. Not a single person in elected office is able to fact check big tech from drawing up the laws themselves.
Our entire workforce is potentially going to be cut in half for the sake of cutting costs. If you think your job is safe it's not: we're talking nurses, doctors, drivers, delivery, factory, construction, law, real estate, restaurants, etc.

This would insure the electorate has options in which they desire to vote FOR, rather than simply opposing Party candidates they want to vote AGAINST. No President should be declared a 'winner' without the support of a majority of the population and 270 votes within the electoral college. RCV NOW!

But the “liberal” media are so captured, they’re not allowed to discover the truth or to convey that truth to their readers/listeners. They are obligated to lie about this man, which is one of the reasons I left the Democratic Party.

Really thorough treatment of what's going on across RFK Jr's process of working to get on the presidential ballot in all 50 states. Albeit the odds are that RFK is being opportunistic in how and why he is exploiting the flaws in the US two party system; that is, if and when he succeeds on getting on the ballot, the real work of proving he authentically represents something independent of that two party system, needs to begin.

@@donkeybus I judge it is fairly inevitable that we each evaluate what we come up against, in a singular manner reflecting our biographical experience. I'm afraid that my experience sees me so anti-Trump, that I cannot see past the imperative of seeing him defeated electorally in November. I'm equally against Biden's policies in support of Israel, which concomitantly are anti-Palestinian and inhumane and damaging to global stability; but that does not displace the imperative to defeat Trump (who would be infinitely worse than Biden on any metric). Again, Biden recognises the need to support Ukraine to see Russia defeated militarily. It's simply the wrong time, and perhaps RFK Jr is perhaps the wrong person, to be dealing with what ails the USA culturally and politically. Keeping my mind open to hear the voice and being of RFK, is intrinsically separate from all of that. When systems have gone wrong, as is currently the case in the USA and elsewhere, I don't look for remedy in a single messianic figure. Rather a reformist zeitgeist has to come about, and that has to come from many individuals.

Meanwhile, a Harvard doctor with the backing of the fourth largest political party with a progressive agenda and a pathway to 50-state ballot access is treated as if she doesn't exist.

I disagree. Financial inequity starts on the playing field of TRUE CAPITALISM. The Commander-in-Cheif chooses his cabinet and they are vested with ensuring our public agencies work for the People. They do not. They work for large corporations now. RFK, Jr. is the only candidate capable of leveling that playing field for We the PEOPLE. He already has 35+ years with more success than our current President in achieving "financial equity". Think about all the lawsuits he has won for the "little guy". That's the only way to fight when our government is rigged against us. RFK, Jr. and Federal Ranked Choice Voting are the only path forward. Otherwise, the continued escalating divisiveness results in a second Civil War. Captain Kennedy is leading the Union.
