Surprised people are disappointed. These singers are way better than the ones at Disneyland to me 😂 plus, I appreciate that it's not the full show. The mariachi band has been around at Epcot since day 1. They are a staple at this point as many of them have been there since opening day as well. I'd rather they be there, singing all the songs they know as well as the new coco songs.
I for one have an issue the dancers. I’m a Folklorico dancer and they just did horrible they could have used a dress from Jalisco since they are dancing to mariachi singing music and if they were going to use those costumes they could’ve interpreted some steps from the state of Veracruz but the steps look like they were made up and their headpieces don’t match the outfits and they shouldn’t be using a bandana there’s no bandana when dancing that region if they were going to use dancers they should have gotten professional ones. I know this video is old but that’s my only issue as a dancer
@@viriditty1945 If it helps: 1) the dancers were brand new for this as they'd never been there before. They are very much just tacked onto something that has been at the parks for decades. So its not surprising not a ton of thought went into that. They are there because they are in the disneyland version, which was developed first for an area with no mainstay mariachi band/much more room for a performance than the small area of the mexico pavillion the epcot group has. They're doing a cut down version in epcot, and you might like the original in disneyland more. 2) It does not appear to be performed as often as their more traditional songs anymore. I just came back from my family trip last month, and their schedule seems to have changed to just be one time a day for this version of the show. So I have still not seen it in person. Yet be happy they are not..I guess performing poorly as often anymore. The singers are wonderfully kind people who actually are in control of their set to a degree [having even deviated from it to offer to sing a song for my family] minus this version of the show, since they "create" their normal show while disney was in charge of this one. So it's more worth it to see their original set, where dancers were never meant to really be a part of it since it was all about the music/choreography they come up with themselves to that music.
@@Inurantchan I don’t have a issue with the singer they are good but there are professional dance groups they can hire to do the dancing it’s really not that hard at all Disneyland does that they hire professional dancers who do it for a living and Ik Florida has some dance companies who dance traditional Mexican folk
Disneyland does that because they’re not stingy like modern day Orlando. WDW, at the time of this show’s creation and sorta now has had a problem lately with cheaping out on the resort. A lot of our rides aren’t being maintained, and the cast member/show quality is down. So this is really part of a bigger problem, a lot of which stems from former management and current political climates in Florida. We’re hoping now that they’ve kinda seemed to revert some policies (saying they’ll put more money into the parks) things will change, but I think you’ll have to hold your breath on the dancer issues. That kinda stuff is lower on the totem pole than everything else.

Porque estan bailando con el traje de Veracruz! y el faldeo NOES ASI!!! the folklorico dancers are misrepresenting the state of Veracruz (white dress). The dance style is NOT like this and its like doing the Texas Two-step in a prom dress with heels . who did this Disney?!
So sad that he’s only there for the last song...But I’m excited to see Miguelito this month!!!
Esteban killed it at the end singing Remember me.
I agree
Gepetto’s work has paid off...
That kind of puppet is what disney *should* have made for the pinocchio remake

Hi
*in disappointed that that the singers did not spin at poco loco*
*jk I loved it*
That was really a let down. Miguel didn’t even sing! Wish this was more like the Disneyland show ☹️
Wow, I'm super bummed it's not more like the Coco show at DLR.
That pepole,s are singging like that I like that other Coco somting
God that looks creepy.
The puppet being attached to the cast member is not only tacky but also pathetic looking! Who ever approved this should be FIRED RIGHT AWAY!
your fired
Bob Baker isn’t that how Olaf is set up in Disneyland at the frozen musical that replaced Aladdin.
Te falta magia. :)
