Hey, nice tutorial! I will definitely want to see more of these!! Quick comments, I would have liked to have the animations actions bound to the variable states instead, to not duplicate actions every time, and also would have liked to see avoid walk and kick at the same time! Personally also would like a better bigger resolution on your videos if possible to have more breathing room! Keep up the great work! :)
This tutorial is GREAT! shows how powerful DnD can be. Tutorial idea with DnD: Freezing player (ignore input) when get hit by enemy for a second, and then get back to normal? In Construct3 it's super easy, but I didn't try this in GMS2 DnD, should be interesting. :)
Actually, I do have a question, f anyone ever sees this. I set up a Kick as shown in this video; I also have standard "hold left/right to move left/right" controls. I'd like to make it so that if I press space while holding one of the direction buttons, the kick animation overrides the movement, but currently he just keeps moving. I basically have to stop moving, then press Kick to see the kick animation, which isn't ideal. Any tips here?
Hey bro, can u do a tutorial about how to make an executable in the free version of game maker studio 2?, i try compiling the game but it doesn't work.
I came here only for comparison of dnd vs code as a long-term guru of studio1 ... this crap is completely useless and chunky lol. Instead of writing a single line of code, you get like 5 blocky windows :D
Лучший! с помощью переменных моя анимация работает нормально!
This tutorial was just what I needed. Thank you!
I love your DnD tutorials♥

You can't. You need to buy at least the 'Creators' edition for about 40 euro to export your game to an executable.
