    not sure what's wrong with your yanmar motor ( i would hazard a guess the rubber seals finally gave out and you need the replacement leaded gaskets seal kit) but they aren't hard to fix or take out and have a shop fix or rebuild them. much better motor that is going to last near forever too.

    Somebody sure didn’t do that poor 455 any favors….. can’t imagine having that kind of investment in a machine and letting it get in that condition…. Actually the 425 and 445 have the exact same engine (FD620D). The only difference is the fuel injection.

      At the time the tractor was not needed, but when our other one broke it was time to fix this one, and yes, the 445 and 425 have the same engine other than the fuel injection and computers.
