i got that cosori kettle because of you and i absolutely love it! we had an electric kettle that was just ok. i didn’t want to buy a new one until it broke. i joked that i cursed it because i wanted the cosori so bad. ours stopped working (finally 😉) so i finally ordered the cosori and it’s just amazing! love that you can set it to different temperatures and hold the temp. and it looks so nice on the counter. a lot of appliances can make your counter space look cluttered but this one actually adds aesthetic appeal 👍🏻

Fellow paper planner here too! I need them written down and checked off. Other types of planners for me fall flat. I love Natural Life's 17 month planners.

Thank you for recommending the SKIN 1004 Probio-Cica Intensive Ampoule. I have been using it for about six weeks and it has helped my skin a lot. I recently purchased the Anua Heartleaf Soothing Toner and use it before the ampoule. I find it soothing and it definitely seems to calm my acne. I'm glad I decided to take a chance on it during a recent Amazon sale.
Personally, I really like it for after sun exposure as it recommends. Not for obvious burns as a treatment, but to just calm it down if I feel a little toasty. And it's a mask I can wear overnight during dry Colorado winters.
Received this as a sample years ago. I did keep it in the refrigerator but I was not at all impressed. A good moisturizer applied to slightly damp skin works wonders.
I am a die hard paper planner user. Hobonichi has the BEST A5 planner. They use tomoe river paper and it is divine. Been using it for the last 7 years.

I've used PlannerPad spiral bound paper planners for over 20 years! Super helpful keeping me aware of multiple projects at work and home. Watch their video. They're great to refer back to for contact info etc. I use the note pages at the back for a master packing list. The version with pale green linework makes everything I enter pop. You can get clear plastic pockets for inside each cover flap & customized tabs to mark months etc.
I use google calendar for zoom etc appointment links but I need the tactile visual layout of weekly calendar pages to really organize my time

I have a calendar on my phone but I absolutely have to have a written calendar. If I don't update it, I feel really a mess and disorganized. I agree with you that writing things down really cements things in my brain. I read somewhere once that it's because it gives your brain more time to process the thought so it can really sink in. That's why students who actually write notes in class rather than take notes on their laptops have better retention of the material.

I attempted to purchase the YesStyle Advent Box a couple of months ago. Had it in care, info all pre-filled, clicked to complete the purchase immediately when the clock struck time, and got a message saying no more left in my area. They sold out within 60 seconds!? They should be able to forecast how many are needed by past sales. Not falling for that marketing hype build up again.
I've always kept an aloe plant in my kitchen for burns. Learned this from Mom & Grandma. Works great, run the burn under cool water, apply the aloe juice and bandage, burns don't blister.

By using paper planner and writing down I too remember things better. Also read while back if you use blue ink it is even better.
I have computer/electronic calendar that I have to use for work but always transfer items to paper.
There's research to support note taking via hand and memory . Haven't heard of the blue ink though
The Alba papaya enzyme mask is good for the enzyme type masks. That brand is good.
Same with writing things down. I think because I learned that way.

Hi Andrea. Happy Sunday. Have you tried the mixsoon bean essence? It's very nice and moisturizing if you use it as a serum. I'm impressed. I haven't used it as a peel, price is pretty high.
I don't think I've seen any videos she's done on it. But I know Lab Muffin's reviewed it.
I use diary as I like writing it down.
PTR retinol fusion PM has the highest retinol percentage I can find in Canada over the counter. It has no smell, which is very important to me. It seems to work well as well. I'd been using Beauty of Joseon's retinal cream for the last year or so, and recently switched back to PTR to see if there's a difference. I got the "baby skin forehead" that I used to get from the PTR retinol again. Retinol couldmt really have done anything that quickly, I wouldn't think, so I wonder if the effect is from the vitamin C that's also in the serum.
All other PTR products I've tried have been masks, and they all sucked.
I noticed you recommend sunscreens containing octinoxate, but I’ve always heard this chemical filter is one of the top worse ones to use along oxybenzone? I also heard it is bad for marine life. Can you pls touch on the octinoxate chemical filter? Thanks Dr Dray! ❤
Dr Dray and Lab Muffin have both addressed sunscreen filters like this. Also, they've addressed the marine question as well. Lab Muffin especially has several videos on that.
I find PTR to be overrated. I haven’t been too impressed by any of their products. Andalou organics’ pumpkin enzyme mask is much better imo
I love Andalou Naturals' Revitalizing Serum (purple bottle), and plan to try their Vitamin C + Turmeric serum and the Avocado + Cacao mask.
I bought some of their sunscreen on sale from QVC and it was literally the worst thing ever, I don’t even like it on my hands. I had to throw it out

I tried the PTR gold mask that’s super expensive and it broke me out. I tried twice and it was horrible. I gave it to my sister and she loved it. So I guess his products aren’t for me. I have no plans to try anything else.

Is there a lot of difference between using fruit enzymes (like papain) to exfoliate the skin or glycolic acid (considering it is well known formulated product not DIY both cases) ?
As far as fruit enzymes, I'd check her video review on Good Molecules. She talks about their pineapple enzyme powder and an older video, stop buying these skin care products & what to buy instead. Some derms are fine with fruit enzymes and some aren't.
I’m confused, the sheet masks in the link are for tea tree in a green box and not the same as the ones you have. Would these be ok to use or would the tea tree be irritating? I’m leery of getting them because of that.

Possibly the skyn icelandic hydro cool firming eye gels. They are supposedly derm and ophthalmologist approved and are supposed to be fragrance and dye free. Dr Dray has reviewed them.
