Tiimmy Stone yes, if you watch any of his other vids his dad is a demolition contractor and problably closed on the house giving him the access to anything inside
The money in the envolopes could've been bill money that's why it was in separate envolopes. The reason I say this is because my mom use to do the same thing before she got money orders. Also check those coins some of them could be worth lots of money even some of the pennies could be worth something. Great find guys, way to go.
zappy008 You must not have had to deal with the ederly that saves every cent they have. My Grandmother saved money around the house for quick cash to help a family member, they get to where they don't trust banks or they let someone pay there bills for them and they give cash to that person paying the bills. My Grandmother saved changed to deposit in her Grandkids savings account. I understand this issue about the money. Plus collecting certain coines. What I don't understand is , why the family did not go in and get some of there things. That does not make sense to let a home go like this.
Are they sure it was a abandoned house? Those bills look fishy! All of them are bank new? Old abandoned houses, have old bills. I agree on the 1943D silver penny. Some in that era, the collectors value is as high as $15,000.
Coins 1964 and earlier, except nickels and pennies are coin silver (92.5% or so). Those peace dollars are worth a little money, maybe $25 each. That pile of quarters might be worth going through to see if there are any silver ones too.
Chan Joo Park Nope. I'm not sure about ones from the 1800's or before, but in the 20th century, the only nickels that have some amount of silver were made between 1942 and 1945. And even then they didn't have a lot of silver, maybe a 30% or so
If you actually listened to the video, he said the owner only died a couple months before so it's obvious this was the guys life savings, envelopes would of been inheritance for his family which obviously never got to them. Fair play guys, I'd love to have a job like this, so exciting.
Research all of these coins and also look for mint marks. Also look for errors even if you think that the coins aren't old. These may be worth a lot. Try going to a coin shop or calling up an expert to help you out, just make sure that they won't scam you. Do some research beforehand. Also please be more careful with the coins :(
I don't know if you know our anyone told you but these rare coins that you found are very valuable specially the copper pennies from 1943 they can go for hundreds of thousands of dollars make sure you're really check what they are some people might miss leave you but the pennies are very valuable from 1943 and bicentennial quarters are very valuable The old silver dollars are very valuable And some of them might be mis printed and I work more and some of them might be printed different that are more valuable You have found something very valuable
I cut a 1930 Penny in half, inside was steel , not copper. Same thing with the 2017 , 2018 , and 2019 pennies. It's just steel coins spray painted coating. I had 2 of the 1930 pennies but now have one left. When I was a kid I thought pennies were actually copper, nope that wasn't true.
Very exciting find and good you had salvage rights. I just cringe when I see so many antiques, vintage items and such just being left to decay or be destroyed by vandals in abandoned houses. I have a few of those steel pennies. Thumbs up!
On the coins that are 1963 and older should be all silver. Look at the sides of the coins if no brown it's silver. If you drop the coin on the table 1 new against 1 old and listen you can hear the difference. Also check the coin list for rear odd misprint then they can be more $$$. On Pennies check each. I would love a wooden penny. But I bet that would cost more then a pretty penny! Lol!

I use those type of envelopes all the time. You don't lick them, you pull off a strip of paper to reveal the 'glue' and stick it down, they are not old envelopes. Plus, these envelopes really seal after a few hours to days. In other words, for a couple of days, the glue is not set and pulls open easily, after that, it will only tear the paper, the glue will not be sticky anymore and you can't open it like he did.
chely williams actually steel you numbnuts. go find a 1943 penny and use a magnet, itll stick. zinc doesnt stick to magnets, its used on most us currency obviously except for bills

You said this had been sitting for a long time??? The house may have been old but those envelopes were made with adhesive strips instead of the lickable seals. So that tells me that the money has been there for a alittle while. But nothing like 50 years or something. If you look at the bills they will have a year on them just like the coins. Anyway its a really cool find. Did this person have kids? Maybe they were in envelopes and were supposed to go to his kids etc.... And yes a lot of the videos we see here arefaked. Thats why people think that. Too bad that people have to try and trick others like that.
Bridget Willis the bills were the newer large portrait edition so the house may have been old but the stash not so much. I once found 3 hundreds on a carnival midway about 30 yrs. ago. At the time I was homeless and maybe had 20 bucks on me. I watch the ground to this day, and now and then...

Hey! I have some coins that were my grandads, if you could help me figure out whether they are worth anything that would be awesome give me a message on instagram! @shanae_deacon!!
Very nice find plus what you didn't show us!! I would definitely be checking all those coins some of them could be worth alot. I think it's very sad though that whoever's home this was had no family or anyone come claim it and now the house and whatever else remained is now landfill. Makes me very sad. I also hope that you guys do a good deed and maybe help someone out in your neighborhood that could use a some help maybe buy someone some groceries or maybe someone with children and by them a new bike or toy 😄
That old man had some really nice purses, and also he kept those envelopes completely pristine without any mold or age. That's amazing.

New envelopes in an abandoned 1800s house. Very clean purse no dust. The ghosts must’ve been house cleaners....
Jon Froosh people could have lived in it in the 70s. It still could have been built in the 1800s..
Hence 1800s house.

Alessandro They do if there stolen!
OR if they're super happy and excited, happened to me when I found a Young-Head Canadian penny!
They do if they have been put there to curse the Greedy!
Oh so you found all them in abandoned house.
Then notes look new and the envelopes look brand new.
Got something to say?
