Man this looks sadly SO different from the original games. THe original games were slow paced and relaxing.... And it took a while to get to where you needed to go.
This just looks like any other strategy game of today.
Trust me it def takes a while
The hateful reviews are not accurate to the game. I love it so far. Is it different yes. But once you get into it it's wonderful.
This game sucks I hate when they make games where ground units are able to destroy buildings that are made of stone why can't they just make Siege weapons there's not a lot going on in combat in this title the only thing it's got going for it is it's pretty

Have they improved skirmish(vs AI)? I got it when it first released and then returned it when I noticed the AI was doing nothing of worth?
@@xxan84Well, not really. The AI can be a challenge in a 4 vs 4 game but 1 vs 1 and 2 vs 2 games are still pretty easy (which is okay for me because I mostly play PvP instead of Coop).
@@elysium540 Can you play with 3 AIs so you do 4v4? Only interesting in skirmish, don't intend of playing multiplayer, thx!
@@xxan84 No, that's unfortunately not possible. You can't fill up places on your side with AI. It has to be 4 people vs 4 AI. Keep in mind there is also a nice singleplayer campaign with 12 missions. :)

This game don't looks like Settlers. It's shame for this brand.
When it lounced i had the privelege to see a update of setles fans and men it was roosted and said to suck verry hard so i stayed of like a plage for me its timberborn have over 500 hours in this verticaly sity builder where you can stack buildings and just not be able to unlock evryting yet
This is look like random aoe 4 gameplay , not even close to real settlers ... I still prefer sett3 way more enjoyable then this trash ...
Its just an RTS masquerading as a old-school Settlers game
But is the game any good? This video gives very little info.

Im new to this game and im enjoying it alot. Got it on a sale. Only yhing i wish is walls and siege engines and naval stuff.
Wall were mentioned and considered in the past, but for this title it would change the dynamic too much. Settlers are not a "wall-ish" series :D Glad you like he game as a whole tho! So do we!
@thehonestsettler I'd would be fine with just palisades atleast. Wooden walls as such just to help funnel enemies. But yeah I am enjoying it alot. Especially the Jorn faction. I never played the old settler games so I have no idea how they work 😅

personally I enjoyed the setller 5, its old but I like it cos of nostalgia. I don't know nothing about the new settler games

I feel like towers should be limited the amount we can build.
The idea was mentioned a few times, but there is no need for sucha limit mainly because building defenses slows you down economically.
@@thehonestsettler mmm I don’t know every IA and player map opponent that I encounter is full of towers. I liked that feature on AoE 3 where only 7 towers can be build.
@@aithemed I understand that, but I usually build as few towers as possible, because eventually you will just be able to cut through them far too easily. For every tower they build, you can speed up your production tremendously instead.
