This game don't looks like Settlers. It's shame for this brand.

You can’t move buildings but you can destroy them with the hammer option in the buildings menu.

You have to open the build menu. On PS4, it’s Square. At the end of the menu, R1 to the end or L1 just one tap, there is a demolish option. You don’t even need workers to demolish. It happens automatically. I’m sorry if this isn’t a good explanation.

Yeah it's similar one of the reasons I started playing it but I gotta say as new player to both ages is not only better but has better layout for controls a lot easier to pick up

The hateful reviews are not accurate to the game. I love it so far. Is it different yes. But once you get into it it's wonderful.

@@felixmustermann790 Yeah, well, PoP has it's own issues and the game has quite a bit lower player base than TS:NA due to it not feeling competitive enough. I feel like people just can't be pleased by anything sometimes. - Daranix

@@thehonestsettler yeah, and still pioneers of pagonia is just in early-access while ubisofts settlers is basically dead in the water already since when ppl want to play Age of Empires they play Age of Empires and not every game has to be competitive... thats a fuckin disease in modern game development, that thank fuckin god, has been proven to not make games good or bad by the simple example of Helldivers or other building games where you basically create your own town (Cities Skylines)

While I understand the nostalgia, they've already got many The Settlers titles with less competetive approach in their library. It's only natural for any product to evolve with time and for many the evolution is welcomed. I have played them all and this one is my favorite by far. Also, if you are a true The Settlers fan you should recognize that in almost every single release they've been trying a bit different approach than before. - Daranix

That's true Daranix. I am just a bit anxious that the single player is too short? I am not so much in multiplayer.

@@pitape1822 It is shorter, yea, the game is more focused on the multiplayer side of thing, but you can enjoy skirmishes or hardoce challenges against AI. :)

It was always pretty competitive. Have you ever tried playing settlers 3 online? People are still tryharding there. However all versions after 4th were very bad and casual so i welcome the change.

I still stick to settlers 2 😂

Wall were mentioned and considered in the past, but for this title it would change the dynamic too much. Settlers are not a "wall-ish" series :D Glad you like he game as a whole tho! So do we!

@thehonestsettler I'd would be fine with just palisades atleast. Wooden walls as such just to help funnel enemies. But yeah I am enjoying it alot. Especially the Jorn faction. I never played the old settler games so I have no idea how they work 😅

I know exactly how expansive it is to run these servers and that is exactly the reason why they shut them down after so many years. And I am fully in my right to deny Ubisoft in my gaming life. These games should be playable in offline mode when this happens. You saying these servers are cheap, even after so many years of selling the last copy of the game is just silly. You know nothing.

yeah i bought the game despite all the negativity but refunded it the second i realised it was online only. Ridiculous. Especially after they shut down crew recently. Old game but i expect to be able to play my games in single player for as long as i have hardware that can run them.

The idea was mentioned a few times, but there is no need for sucha limit mainly because building defenses slows you down economically.

@@thehonestsettler mmm I don’t know every IA and player map opponent that I encounter is full of towers. I liked that feature on AoE 3 where only 7 towers can be build.

@@aithemed I understand that, but I usually build as few towers as possible, because eventually you will just be able to cut through them far too easily. For every tower they build, you can speed up your production tremendously instead.

Hi, yes you can! There is an option to even play with controller/console settings.

Have they improved skirmish(vs AI)? I got it when it first released and then returned it when I noticed the AI was doing nothing of worth?

@@xxan84Well, not really. The AI can be a challenge in a 4 vs 4 game but 1 vs 1 and 2 vs 2 games are still pretty easy (which is okay for me because I mostly play PvP instead of Coop).

@@elysium540 Can you play with 3 AIs so you do 4v4? Only interesting in skirmish, don't intend of playing multiplayer, thx!

@@xxan84 No, that's unfortunately not possible. You can't fill up places on your side with AI. It has to be 4 people vs 4 AI. Keep in mind there is also a nice singleplayer campaign with 12 missions. :)

Yes, the game is available on PS5, but it is a PS4 version (plays the same) :)

We might actually feature Manor Lords on the channel as well! But there will me no MP so the games can hardly be compared. :)
