While watching clips from the previous Game of Thrones breakdown, I came across some cast interview clips, and I could not help but notice how effortlessly charming Emilia Clarke was. Emilia displays a number of charismatic habits, though, while seemingly simple, are extremely powerful.
In this video, we are going to break down 4 of Emilia’s habits that make her so charming. These might seem very simple at first, but there are nuances that take them from ordinary basic advice to habits that can make you extremely charismatic if you hit the nuance.
⏰TIMESTAMPS⏰
0:38 - Habit #1: ”Smile frequently (and genuinely)”
2:59 - Habit #2: “Build other people up”
5:29 - Habit #3: “Raise the energy in your interactions”
7:21 - Habit #4: “Be an active listener”

3. Raises energy in room
4. Builds others up
Damn im really not charming😂😂😂
@@sarabaci4186
Hey Sa, you just accomplished all four, good start!
5. Floss
damn, I'm so charming :D The only thing is I've come to do all those things (and they work) because I don't like interacting with others and people used to not like me at all (although I have nothing against them and don't do anything to harm them, of course) . The problem is , it's fake , it works but it's fake , giving all the time , pretending all the time exhausts me and I still don't know how to interact genuinely. I avoid people and friendships. Yet I still do that thing each time I'm forced to interact and people like me now, a lot, to the point that they fall in love. It"s powerful.
I think number one should really be, "Get paid a lot of money", then, comes the genuine smile and so forth.
The whole time seeing Emilia Clarke smile makes me genuinely happy but the moment you flashed Kanye West my mood was destroyed almost instantly, what a contrast.

I see that as about the same as being so evil someone makes a video about you. I laugh at the idea of aspiring to be charismatic.

She's survived two aneurysms and will always be at risk of suddenly dying. It's amazing and a testament she can find the humour in everything. She's absolutely lovely and a monumental inspiration.
Damn its so hard to imitate them specially if you're a psycho, anxious and have mental disorder... I think its not for everybody, right?
Wait!! Whoa!!! WHAT?! o_O
the brighter the light, the darker the shadow.
People who gone though a lot are usually funny or easily finds the humor in things. This is a known fact. I was bullied as a kid and later depressed on and off, suffered sometimes severe anxiety as well as social anxiety for many years. But I joke around a lot. I laugh a lot. If it wasn't for humor I don't know what I would do. I think this is the case for most other "funny people" as well and Emilia too.
When you face your own mortality as a younger person, you realise it can all be over anytime and tomorrow is not guaranteed. So you appreciate every day you wake up and every night you go to sleep. Its a wonderful lesson if you escape death as a young person

You're not alone and escape is certainly possible. Seek help. Eventually you'll be older and wiser -- and happier. I promise.

You can still get yourself back. The Lord is helping me to get myself back. You're wonderfully and beautifully made, please keep this in mind.
The Kanye smile actually seemed genuine till he realised he was smiling

It also helps if you’re Emilia Clarke.
Well, shes good looking, a fine actress (I think)
But at the end, I think I've never seen an interview that didn't make me smile... she does have great charisma, and I get the feeling thats just her being positive in nature.
I've seen an interview with her mother, and to be honest, she isn't that different. You do see them together and get a feeling that Emilia has learned that from her mother, maybe even just by "learning by seeing what her mother days" on a daily basis.
Why? Cause literally the entire world has seen your private parts?

I didn't mean to laugh xD
Well that mean you can be charming without trying
Sometimes people don't smile too much or laugh too much because they are too conscious of their face. If they smile or laugh too much, they think they look ugly, so they just hold themselves from smiling or laughing too much. Emilia doesn't have to worry because she is beautiful. And when she smiles or laugh exagerrately, she is still beautiful. Her charms is so unique. When she smiles, you feel it that it comes from her heart. Her smile is magnetic.

This Channel forgets not everyone is after the expression but after the feeling that accompanies the expression of someone. Encouraging a 'charismatic personality' for one's own benefit rather than for their own inner truth, and subsequently feeling like the person is just putting on a smile devoid of genuine feelings OR out of 'niceness' is actually very off-putting. They'd have to do it again and again consistently to convince me this is their personality. People who notice underlying behaviors should not be considered 'cold and calculating' for doing so either; it is very desirable to learn to see through courtesy and visual acting into someone's heart and energy they put out.
First of all, she's extremely adorable and attractive

People always think my brother is funny, but if you watch what he does, he really just points out the humor in what other people are saying. He highlights other people's jokes. He just sees humor that other people miss. It's a cool trick.
That's so interesting! Could you share any example stories of what the other person said and then what your brother said to make it funny?
@@chrishope9169 It's tough because it's subtle, but it's like this: I have a cousin whose birthday is March 1, and he make a comment about 17 days until St. Patrick's day. And Andy made a comment along the lines of "yes, Tommy's b-day is the official start of the St. Patrick's day season", and then people all started riffing on that, making jokes about how they hate people who put up St. Patrick's day decorations before Tommy's b-day., etc. He got the bit going, and let everyone else in the room run with it.

step 1: be genuinely happy
step 2: share that happiness whenever possible
I think most people's issue is with step 1.
this is really all it is imo. when you're actually happy you want to uplift everyone around you to your level of happiness because it feels so amazing
'this is really all it is imo' being genuinely happy isn't as easy as it seems though, if it was i think everyone would be happy all the time
Well said lol. Yeah it's just better to naturally be in a good mood and as happy as you possibly can be. (Appreciate the Moment) and this could come naturally. #Gratitude
And listen to other people and acknowledge them. Thats the problem i have most. Its not that i dont want to hear what they say or that i dislike them Im just to eager to say what i want to say that i end up cutting other people off, coming off as rude or uninterested. So I would be genuinely happy, share that happiness, and pay attention and acknowledge other people
can't be happy when your grinding everyday trying to make ends meet a lot are in the box
emilia allows herself to find the humor in everything
my depression doesn't allow me to find humor in anything
touché
I feel that. I've struggled with depression for a lot of years and it took some flip flopping hard work to find humor again! But now, even though I still struggle a lot with depression, I can find joy by finding humor in the little things. Even if it's just my dog's flatulence. Don't give up! Laughter is one of the keys to dealing with chronic depression! Find a happy spot and focus on it, until your perspective shifts from seeing the black to only seeing that tiny speck of light, until the blackness is overcome by the good you focus on! I believe in you! 😇😇😇
Sometimes you have to "act" the part. After a while, and with some help, it will come naturally. Good luck
Just bcz she's smilling doesn't mean she's not depressed. She might be she might not be. Sometimes smiling is a trauma response.

I always enjoy any interviews I've seen her in, but especially during her discussions of off-screen time with other GOT actors. She really does seem like a down-to-earth kinda gal that likes to have fun and lights up any space she's in. I was a little surprised to see her mention something during Emilia Clarke Remembers after GOT season 7, about how she'd learned to feel better about herself through playing such a dynamic character as the Mother of Dragons. Long may she reign!
Her eyebrows have a different life of their own
They've got their own zip codes

I adore that positivity and genuine hapiness she expresses. I used to be like that but people would put me down a lot because of my appearance since I was a child. I grew up and came closer to what an attractive person looks like but unfortunatelly that genuine emotions and trust in people just dissapeared. Now I just feel bitter, self-concious and suspicious when I talk to most people. I am scared to be myself because I got rejected so many times. But it´s me who is paying the price for not being able to bring positivity to others.
Same
Your voice and kindness to subjects you talk about are incredibly pleasant to listen to. Amazing job !
1. Beaming and frequent smiling
2. Build others up (compliments)
3. Raise the energy (of social interactions)
4. Be an active listener
@JP 5. Don't be ugly.
Just kidding, you can be ugly in this circumstance. (I speak from experience). You can mix and match on these too. Active listener should be number 1 in my opinion. So long as you actually care about what others are talking about, whether you would normally pay attention to it or not, people will pay you significantly more mind if you show interest in what they're talking about. The other things definitely help. This is pretty easy for me because I really don't care about things I have to say or feel others can say what I'm thinking/feeling just fine. It means I have less to say, but when I do have things to say, typically (not always) others are more interested/invested.
Number 5 Be humble and happy with life. Otherwise, It may not come off as genuine.
@@SailorSiFi Do you make other people feel awkward or do you make yourself feel awkward? Do you smile with just your mouth or do you smile with both your eyes and your mouth? And lastly, you don't have to compliment people directly it can usually be something as simple as agreeing with a choice they've made rather than something cosmetic or aesthetic, I think you'll have more success if you try that.
@@SailorSiFi I think your doing rather well so far your putting yourself out there and actually applying what you learned, I think one thing that would benefit you is trying to be more humorous in your conversations and get used to laughing at your jokes that will give you way more opportunities to smile and laugh but genuinely this time, next is whenever you give someone a compliment and you start to feel some tension build between you and them try making a joke and for extra information on how to do this successfully maybe check some of this channels videos on flirting mainly the "push and pull" technique, even if you aren't trying to hit on someone it's a very versatile technique that can be used in all types of conversations.

Some of the most charismatic people are actually very insecure, Judy Garland and Audrey Hepburn were probably two of the most charismatic stars Hollywood ever had or will have, but they both had very tragic lifes and dealt with a huge pain since very little. i feel like you started speaking more slowly and comfortably in this video. I get so much more of an enjoyable vibe from that and it gives more space to take in and consider the ideas and possibly follow you. Well done!
Yesterday I went to a gathering and employed these tactics. Got a really great response, people I don't usually talk to I had a blast with, no lulls in the conversation. 😁
It helps to be hot though doesn’t it
not true... I had a pretty ugly friend (just being honest) and the dude was hella charismatic, and always had chick friends and decent looking girlfriends. He wasn't rich or anything, but looking back, he did some of the things talked about here.
@@Chrisko1492 charisma is charisma... imo, it's not like attraction where being hot helps.... being ugly doesn't impede charisma. So you're in luck.
Yuuuup! A person like me exhibits these behaviors and yet, probably isn't as charming to those who find her charming. Oh well... still not gonna stop me, can't see myself caring about what others think that badly enough to change my personality.
There was this one girl who me and many people had a crush on and she was quite ugly. She was fit but it was her charisma that made people attracted to her. Obviously it helps to have good looks but you can still go far without them.

"The perfect person doesn't exist-"
Emilia Clarke: hold my wine
Leshaun Griffith
Better yet:
Emilia Clarke: "Hold my somehow smiling eyebrows"
This is a joke btw.
Hold my starbucks
Totally agree!
"The perfect person doesn't exist."
Emilia Clarke: Hold my dracarys.
"? What does that me--GAAAHHHH!" *burns to a crisp*
Everyone: "Y, you are perfect, my queen! Perfect!!"
Emilia Clarke: *genuine full facial smile*
@@hamzabenchaita4000 "hold my beaming smile with me"
The point really was energy level - you can't exhibit it if you don't have it. So, I would say, do things that will make you energetic - exercise regularly, have healthy food and make more friends!! And one day, you will be CHARMING!! (I guess!!!!)
This video made me feel like I’m gonna rock life.
Thank you for that!
Emilia Clarke X Chris Evans- that would be one happy positive couple
I know right! I always thought that too. They're so similar, with a lot of the same goals, I feel like they'd be perfect for each other
There's a picture of them from an awards show and I was like omg. They would be so perfect!
@ComaBerenices I agree he gets WAAAY too political too quick.
ComaBerenices ComaBerenices totally agree, Emilia wouldn't do that. If they were together, then I think she'd be able to pacify him. But yeah I agree, he's positive about some thing but other things not so much, like politics and other things
I say Emilia and Chris Hemsworth!
I died at kanye's fake smile 😂💀
RIP
Smilingggggg genuinely and finding humor and laughing freely
Putting spotlight on others
Building others up
I love her laugh.
God she's so free! I love her. She's the most genuine person on TV.
She's an actress. Most of this is surely rehearsed and internalized behavior.
@@iWillWakeYouUp oh yeah but it's so natural. Most definitely some of it is innate.
Maybe...but at a certain point you can't continue with pretense. What she does is too natural to be false.
I like your bar at last written every single point
@@iWillWakeYouUp yeah she's not a good actor though.
*You look super charming while smiling when you're bloomed with genuine happiness/joy!*
Mindprovement Yes, exactly what I was thinking
Everyone looks kind of beautiful while laughing. That sounds cheesy, but it's true.
took me about 2 months to learn to smile with my eyes also when faking a smile, but I managed to do it. Guess I'm a psychopath
Edit: Also, I am a subscriber and alot of the videos I've watched have been super helpful in manipulating people. I've managed to gain a few odd jobs here and there watching your stuff.
@@jjokinen8420 Really? Wow!
@@jjokinen8420 Unless you want to "hurt" people, I'd say more power to you! 💪
im so glad i found this channel! im very introverted and i feel like i rly need to change and socialize more😩
I really enjoy your videos. They make me feel good. Well done.
Damn she's so charismatic, I smiled throughout the video, her smile is infectious!

Pro tip: NEVER give fake compliments. People KNOW
pookie pie Just to add a quick smth: if you want to find easy genuine compliments it can be just a little thing you noticed like a nice shirt or complimenting they’re efficiency or nice writing. Compliments don’t need to be always on the same things.
When anybody says a compliment about me I /always/ assume it's fake or sarcastic.
I figure there are people who /always/ assume it's genuine, too.
It's gotta work both ways right?
Not exactly. You're always allowed to call a woman beautiful or a man handsome, pretty much no matter what they look like. Unless they were recently horribly disfigured and its still a sore spot maybe. But otherwise, even if people know youre buttering them up they will usually appreciate the gesture so long as it feels like its coming from a place of affection
You have eyes
@@charimuvilla8693 That's very charming and genuine of you to say
I've enjoyed your site very much! It's full of positive info!
Thanks for the great video! Godspeed to all who read this!
