Mr. Silva - story time. Back in the 1990s, when I was in graduate school, I shared an office with a cheerleader who was an undergrad at the time and active for the university. He was an amazingly fit and athletic dude, and really opened my eyes to the amazing things you guys do. We became friends and I grew to admire the work of stunt cheerleading. He ended up teaching me a lot about the way you guys learn stunts, and how they are actually done, and it was always fun to hear from him about it.
Fast forward a couple of decades, and he passed away from brain cancer at a tragically young age. Now, in the mid 2020s, your shorts somehow showed up in my feed, and it brings back memories. Every time I see one, it brings a smile to me. I am in awe of the strength and skill you and your partners display, and it always brings back memories of my late friend.
God speed, stay safe, have tons of fun, and please keep living life to the fullest.
