I don't know the timestamp, but you made a comment during one of Ai's concerts about how the crowd was full of grown men. That's because the grown women are obsessing over the all male idol groups.
Now....I am a dub lover, but at this point, I have watched this series, and reactions to it, so, so, so many times subbed, even I have 5o admit this feels weird. Now, I am absolutely going to continue it dubbed for the experience. I am a native Texan speaker, so it is nice to be able to not divide my attention span. I will always prefer dub....generally. However, there are some dubs that are a blight upon this land. Like "the Eminence in Shadow." 😰
man when i started watching this vid every thing was amazing good wuality and all so i thought u had like a lot of subs but i decided to look and 222?! i wouldve never guessed 222 you deserve more 1 new sub added
I know this sounds messed up, but Aqua's voice while Ai was dying had me laughing my ass off. Im normally a sub watcher, and just wanted to see what the dub was like and i was just dead from laughter the whole time.
Btw, Oshi no Ko has been/is such a massive success, there will be a live action tv show of it in November and a live action movie in December (or visa versa, perhaps). I believe it already had a stage play...maybe?
the message in 37:37 basically criticizes her, how she smiles. 40:26 same guy says here "this, right here!!" as if in saying that this is what a real smile is.
37:45 I hate that dubs never have any kind of translation of written japanese on screen. I almost always pause it and translate it myself when I want to read something. Or open up a subbed version and find it there.
You should watch japanese ver. not dub😭 Although you've already watched it, I strongly recommend watching ep1 (ver. Japanese) again😭 Their acting is sooooooo nice
OH WOW!! I would've never guessed! I just did some research, looks like all of the characters are based on different actors and idols. That really brings another dimension to the story, thanks for sharing!
Great time to start watching this since season 2 is now airing. This series is just so good! Though, I would recommend watching this in sub. I'm a dub guy for the most part, but this anime's sub version is just better IMO. But if you want some animes with great dubs, try Attack on Titan, 86/Eighty Six, Overlord, Kaiju no. 8 and Chainsaw Man.
Yes, I'm so excited to catch up! It makes me even more excited to hear you say that it's so good! That's a common theme that I'm seeing, everyone is saying that the sub is so much better for this show. I'll definitely start watching the subbed version for the video next week! I just started watching Kaiju no.8 and I'm loving it! I still have to finish Attack on Titan, and Chainsaw Man was great--I watched that last year. I'll have to add 86 and Overlord to my list, thanks so much for the recs!
26:30 I severely disagree. He's a newborn baby. They're generally supposed to breastfeed. If anything, it's weirder that he's not accepting the intended nutrition. If you wanted to "act appropriately," he could just play the part of the baby without making it weird. Now....Ruby is just being fing wrong as hell. THAT is how NOT to replay to your sibling.
I agree but I don't because even though he is a baby, he is mentally still an adult man that cared for this teenage girl. So it's still a little "weird" for him to breastfeed from a teenage girl as an adult man, even though he IS in a baby's body.
I see! Takahashi Rie KILLED it! She made that scene hit so hard. I will still give the dub actors their kudos (I couldn't do it!) but the OG always hits different
Oh really?! I totally get it, I feel like the dubs don't always (with some exceptions) capture the same emotion and raw feelings as the subs. I gotta start watching the sub instead! I probably wouldn't have been able to recover from this scene with the sub 😅Thanks for the tip!
Not always. Whilst I do prefer Oshi no Ko in Japanese since I think the sub just does it better, there are plenty of animes with great English dubs (That I prefer over the sub) as well (i.e. Chainsaw Man, AoT, Overlord, 86, etc.).
If you’re enjoying this, consider buying me a coffee for just $2-it helps keep these reactions coming! ☕💕

aahhh! that makes sense!

yeah, I think that's the nicest thing about watching the dubs, that you can divide your attention.
I've never heard of that show before, but I guess I'll make sure to steer clear of the dub haha

Oh wow! 💖 You made my morning! Thank you SO SO much!
I'm hoping to keep growing our lil' community!!! I'm glad you're here from the start!
I know this sounds messed up, but Aqua's voice while Ai was dying had me laughing my ass off. Im normally a sub watcher, and just wanted to see what the dub was like and i was just dead from laughter the whole time.
You know, you're not the first person to say that! 😅
49:22 I absolutely love Director Taishi. One of my favorite characters from the whole series.
I agree! he's a great character, I love how his personality is so different than anyone else in the show
Btw, Oshi no Ko has been/is such a massive success, there will be a live action tv show of it in November and a live action movie in December (or visa versa, perhaps). I believe it already had a stage play...maybe?
Oh wow! That's really awesome. I'm excited to watch it when it comes out!
13:42 That's THE keychain. 😊
ahh!
You’re about to have every anime dude after you, so glad you’re doing this tho aha 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Haha you’re so funny! I’m just having so much fun!!!! 😁😁 I’m glad you’re here!

Thank you so much for translating!! I really appreciate you sharing that with me! 😁
37:45 I hate that dubs never have any kind of translation of written japanese on screen. I almost always pause it and translate it myself when I want to read something. Or open up a subbed version and find it there.
ugh, I know! It's so annoying, I feel like I miss so much of the episode that way
19:35 Eh...you forgot that the President asked Ai who the father is?
oh, I did forget about that!
you need to watch the opening if you haven't seen it already. the lyrics of the song hit you hard once you have see this episode.
Going to watch now!!
@@danadubs I hope you enjoy the ride.
me too!!

Yeah, I watched a couple clips and it was good! I think I'll rewatch the episode this weekend! Thanks for the suggestion!!
Ooooooooooooooh, you are in for a journey.
Oooooooooh, I'm super excited!!!
56:30. I'm curious. Did you totally miss him talking about how his body was never found?
I might have forgotten that detail, thanks for the reminder
Trivia: This story is based on an actual event.
Including the scene where Akane got cyber bullied and almost jumped at the bridge.
OH WOW!! I would've never guessed! I just did some research, looks like all of the characters are based on different actors and idols. That really brings another dimension to the story, thanks for sharing!
I'm not sure exactly what part that is, but I saw that that character is based on a Japanese wrestler named Hana Kimura.
Great time to start watching this since season 2 is now airing. This series is just so good!

10:10 I've got it. The english voice actor for Ai sounds way too old for sixteen year old girl.
that's what it is! I agree with you

Please do not watch the dub
Yeah, I'm seeing the difference now. Gonna start watching the subbed version for the next episode!
Tf with dub?
You're the second person to say something, I really gotta start watching the dubs instead! Is it a lot better for this show?
@@danadubs just watch the death scene on both sub and dub .
You will know which one is better.
I see! Takahashi Rie KILLED it! She made that scene hit so hard. I will still give the dub actors their kudos (I couldn't do it!) but the OG always hits different
Here we go again with the always trash dub.
Dub makes even an emotional death scene funny.

I can see that, that’s how I feel about Solo Leveling. I think the English voice actor KILLED it!!
@@danadubs Oh, he really does. I actually prefer the dub of Solo Leveling (After having watched the sub weekly).
Aleks Le (the VA) is just too good.
@atheistyoda8915 I’m going to have to look out for more shows that he’s in!
