I really liked that phase, where PARADISE LOST has tried to sound in some way like typically BRIT ROCK / ALTERNATIVE band. Usually Doom-Death-Gothic Metal Fans don't really like that "alternative period" of Paradise Lost, but I can well cherish it, because I am a huge fan of ALTERNATIVE MUSIC! "Mouth" and "Fader" are great songs on the album "Believe in Nothing" from 2001 and I always loved CLEAN VOCALS by Nick Holmes!
how I wish they could release an album like this again. I loved the albums between Host and Paradise Lost and I don't understand all the hate they received, they are true masterpieces. Luckily Nick and Greg are back with the HOST project which with the album IX proved to be excellent even if I preferred the lyrics of Believe in Nothing.

Loved both this album and Host since they came out, great albums. My only major annoyance on Believe in Nothing is the placement of Fader right after Mouth. Reason being that Mouth's chorus is "In my mind, in my mouth, in my soul..." then Fader immediately opens with "It's in my heart, it's in your soul..." and just made their otherwise solid lyrics feel slightly trite and repetitive when placed so closely together on two different songs.
