They did a great album with this one, metal fans are the worst, narrow minded, denying changes we all go through...bitter fucks...but even the band put down this amazing release...man, the B sides of this album are great too....when Paradise Lost tried to go back to their roots with "Faith Divides Us, Death Unites Us" that´s when they really fucked it up....thank heavens for Tragic Idol :D
i dont stick with one specific era of them..i like all their periods! the artwork of this remastered album is cool i'd prefer another fond though! nice new version of the original !
Once upon a time I was a 13 or 14 years old boy whose friend lent him a "Crossing All Over" sampler for a week or so - two full CD's, because that's what you needed to store 20 songs back then. I didn't particularly like most of the sampler's tracks except of two. Later when music became a little more accessible online I managed to remember one of the songs' names and enjoy listening to it to this day. It was the track immidiatly before "Mouth" on the sampler, and for by now twenty 20 years each single time said song ended my brain anticipated "Mouth" to follow, being irritated for the fraction of a second. I had it in my head for so long, but couldn't remember the name, the artist, nor did I speak english well enough back then to remember meaningful phrases of its text to look it up. For some reason it didn't occur to me to look for the particular sampler's volume's track list until yesterday - finally it's solved and I now can listen again to the other track I missed from the record and which makes me think when I was a boy my taste in music wasn't as bad as suspected it to have been.
Feel so low some days And only I can taste Resent security Obscuring all I see In my mind In my mouth In my soul Only you provide These symptoms that I show I could go out in style Go back from where I came But luck sees to us all And rarely plays the game We've seen it all Through many years Of lonesome hell Back to a place Where we all terminate
I apparently heard this version in a stream right now. I had to look it up because it sounded so estranged compared to what I remembered. I obviously prefer the original :)
At least you can here a slight difference in this unlike the One Second and Host remasters which sounded identical. But this new mix isn't as heavy or as loud as the original, it's a much more limp version. But drums sounds much better. Be interesting what the rest sounds like.
Always did like this album, curious to see how this remaster pans out. This and Sell It To The World have their ups and downs I feel, but I'm really curious to see what happened to Illumination and World Pretending. That all said, I'll go to the grave asserting that Fader is the superior single.
This sounds less "remastered" and more "remixed." I still prefer the original, this version is too dry sounding. Still waiting for that Gothic album remaster however! That album needs to be punched up, the drums are too buried in the mix.
This album is still looks #1 of better records not so bad as In Requiem or Faith, Plague were (PW I love for Terminal and RETURN TO THE SUN, but it's completely different album anyway) really sorry for it's underrated ratings. My favorites are "mouth", "look at me now", "never again", "control". Much better than any of the latest albums. Which are just good So, believe in nothing is 9.5/10 as for me🎧👍
Thank you for streaming the song, but I don't think you've got the visuals right this time. The original VHS tape from 2001 was more involved, more personal, and more representative of what Paradise Lost happened to be like at the time.
Dude, what kind of speakers are you listening it on if you really think the original sounds better? You really need to throw them away and get new ones. This version is mixed like 10 times better than the old one.
The original mix of Believe in Nothing sounds like the remastered version compared to this, it sounds a bit flat if you ask me. And the Host remixed album sounds exactly the same as the one originally mixed in 1999. I support the band and buy all of this, since there were never vinyl releases until now, but I don´t hear real improvements.
I got it last night ( both vinyls and CD digipack :D ) and I must say : IT´S AMAZING!! some songs were completely remixed and were enhanced with lots of new tracks I guess were recorded in the original sessions...I RECOMEND ALL FANS TO GET IT, even if they didn´t like this release back in the day, it sounds darker and heavier in most of the album and the whole thing feels like an oniric trip :D. I wish "Host" would have been re-released as this kind of "alternate version"...now we have 2 versions of BIN and they both kick so much fecking arse !!! hehehe
Drums sound better and there's more synths and keyboards. Mixed opinions about everything else but at least it doesn't sound like a generic post-grunge record like the original.
Taken from Wikipedia. Now I finally understand why the band dislikes this album, though in my opinion it's in top 3. I love it, especially the first half. But given they were totally out, drugged and drunk probably while recording it, it's no wonder they hate it. Host is atrocious compared to this and yet they talk positively about that one, though. We were never really happy with the production on that album. I think the songs on the album were good, but I definitely wouldn't rank the album overall in amongst our top five albums ever. We were all very confused by a lot of things going on around us at the time, hence the cover! (Laughs) I think they were pretty grim times, and I think that's reflected on the rather dour tone of the songs. Practically all of us were on prescribed drugs at that time! (Laughs) I was taking such strong anti-depressants at the time that I didn't really know what was going on at the time. The artwork for the album is a classic example where our brains were at the time. There were just bees in my head! (Laughs) I have no idea what that cover was supposed to represent. On a personal level, Believe In Nothing represented a really dark time in my life. I don't think anything positive comes out of being depressed or down like that. My personal life was kind of in a bad way at that time, and I think that album is a direct result of that. I know a lot of people really love that album, and I think that's great. But for me, I think the most disappointing element is the production, which I think could have been punchier, and the feelings the album conjures up. From Host through to Believe In Nothing, we didn't really kind of know where we were going. We were really in a dilemma. - Nick Holmes
Really? There's another dude in the comments who claims the drums are too buried in the mix. Obviously people hear what they want to hear. Either that or you should all get better speakers because there's absolutely nothing wrong with the drums on this.
some harsh dirty guitars in here. changed the character of this song. I don't like it. To much trying to erase the experimental era for the sake of this Vallenfyre'ish newest Paradise Lost style, which isn't really this good and original as their previous works.
This album is amazing, I don't care what people say, not even the band..
roger that
I like it too.
This album is a masterpiece and the new artwork is awsome.
I agree i only listened to this recently and it's a masterpiece.
Happy 2024, this song still heals my soul ❤
One of my favorite PL songs ever, I don't care what people say, not even what the band says ;-)!
I can listen to this over and over again. Great song!
i dont know but these album always liked it, with Symbol of Life in same vein of style
Brian Asciak Indeed
Aaah, que lindo!!! Amo essa música!
i dont stick with one specific era of them..i like all their periods! the artwork of this remastered album is cool i'd prefer another fond though! nice new version of the original !
One of my favourite songs!
Na minha mente, Na minha boca, Na minha alma

Caraleo que música 🤘
Paradise lost is great
This was the first song of PL that i thought wow, these guys can go far, very different but still amazing! Amazing remaster!
Love this song, both versions.

Sounds great!! Excellent work!
This Song Always give me Energy ☇☇☇
This is a solid album.
Awesome Riff !!
Amazing song❤❤❤❤
Top..Paradise lost !
Essa música é demais!!!
I've got that on vinyl repress. It sounds very 2000 and to me it's not a bad thing.
Wow, one of my favourite PL records, but this is actually better mastered and mixed than the original. Great job!
Coś pięknego! 🖤🖤🖤
Feel so low some days
And only I can taste
Resent security
Obscuring all I see
In my mind
In my mouth
In my soul
Only you provide
These symptoms that I show
I could go out in style
Go back from where I came
But luck sees to us all
And rarely plays the game
We've seen it all
Through many years
Of lonesome hell
Back to a place
Where we all terminate
Perfect!
I love this album! ❤😊
Shades of god is their best album ever, most catchy album and those riffs.
And what s King Diamond best album?
@@mpampiszelico7116 Melissa!
Amazing
Beautiful years 🤘🏻
It sounds great... Congrats PL
That’s for that! 🥰
Pedazo de banda PL.
The Song is perfect. The Album has some great Tracks and some lesser good ones
Love it!

👍👍👍👍🎶🎶 Awesome !
Melancolic.
Believe In Nothing is in my Top 5 of PL album
Love the artwork! (the original one with all the bees , not the new one, sorry :P )
sounds crisp af
This is so different from their very first album.
And also so different from their last album (Medusa).
True, Seppo
Drums sounds way better in this version. Also, the artwork is vastly superior.
GREAT!
🤘🖤🇵🇹🤘
Yes! This sounds so much better and clearer. This is how it should have been on the album.
It sounds cool, but I prefer the original videoclip!
Only you provide the symptoms that i show. Yeah, we all have been there.
Always did like this album, curious to see how this remaster pans out. This and Sell It To The World have their ups and downs I feel, but I'm really curious to see what happened to Illumination and World Pretending. That all said, I'll go to the grave asserting that Fader is the superior single.
Sounds like a reved up Fuel, love it \,,|
one of the most depressive song iv ever heard . it really trigger my suicidal tendencies
It kind of sounds like if Pink Floyd went progressive metal
Sweet, looking forward to this. Will it get proper new artwork? I know PL hated the original art.
The new artwork is shown in the video
i think i like this version better

Is it possible to get original “Mouth” video in HD? Anybody can help me?
P.L. foreva!
This sounds less "remastered" and more "remixed." I still prefer the original, this version is too dry sounding. Still waiting for that Gothic album remaster however! That album needs to be punched up, the drums are too buried in the mix.
Yeah. The original is always better, usually sure.
Una puta obra maestra!
Nice try but we prefer the first mastering, sorry.
Topppp
OoOoOoOoh Showtime
This album is still looks #1 of better records

I love THE original but this version is perfect
It Sounds Amazing
It Sounds Paradise Lost. .But I think the original version is better \m/♥\m/

Eu tbm prefiro a original
Química Experimental Amazing. .but I Prefer the original Version
It's Better. ....
I second that
What is the symbol at 00:02 ?
A smushed rendering of their logo
This version is much better than the original in my opinion. Hope all the songs on this album sound like this being remixed and remastered.
Mush more fill to the lyrics than the other video
This is remixed
Always thought this album had a Katatonia-ish vibe to it.
And Justice for Lee Morris
Βack to the old....
Lars Ulrich did the mix??
I like it much more than the original! love how they took the time to do this! :)
trilha sonora do meu namoro hahahaha
Fucking Amazing Song!!!!

They didn't say "Host" is remixed, only remastered... )
Mmmmmmmm it's hard to say if there's any difference at all. I'd say the guitars are more prominent
Drums sound better and there's more synths and keyboards. Mixed opinions about everything else but at least it doesn't sound like a generic post-grunge record like the original.
What happened with Poison or Jaded chords and atmospheres they used to create? 😣
They're faring good on their last two albums. This is a remaster of a mid-2000's song. Read the description ffs.
And lonely I can taste.
Dragonian Time

I prefer the original version
drums too loud
Fodastico
The drums are too loud. I will stick with the original.
Drums are never too loud. \m/
That's exactly what changed, kuddos for hearing that. The original is better
Really? There's another dude in the comments who claims the drums are too buried in the mix. Obviously people hear what they want to hear. Either that or you should all get better speakers because there's absolutely nothing wrong with the drums on this.
Why is everything mixed so loud these days, espec the drums? I don't enjoy it. Amazing song ofc
Hi, I'm here to talk about our lord and saviour Avenged and how they stopped participating in the loudnesswar
also if you would like some fixed a7x albums ;)
mmoviefan7 nah man I agree with you, some. A7x albums are also mixed waaay to loud, especially Hail to the King (mostly cause its imitating Metallica)
dr.loudness-war.info/album/list/year/desc?artist=avenged hail to the king is not very brickwalled
mmoviefan7 interesting, too me HTK sounded awful drum wise, maybe it's just the drums for me then
some harsh dirty guitars in here. changed the character of this song. I don't like it. To much trying to erase the experimental era for the sake of this Vallenfyre'ish newest Paradise Lost style, which isn't really this good and original as their previous works.
the sound is more empty here very lead sound
Drums sounds better :)
Original version is better
