If u have a pillow case that is clean easier to bd silk you can put that over your head and wrap it so it’s not on your face if you can get a silk bonnet from Amazon which will work to keep the hair in place
Not sure if you will see this, as you made your comment a while ago, but trying watching a few videos where the person uses the method of wrapping the hair around the robe belt or headband in alternating directions. I have shoulder length hair and when I just wrap away from the face, adding to that one big section, it never stays tight for hair above the ear. Using a piece in front then using one from the back, almost creates a braid around the robe belt (which is what I use instead of the pink product shown in this video, as the fuzzy robe belt allows for me to create both very tight and more relaxed curls), which genuinely prevents the hair from loosening over the course of the night. Heck, I’ve even used two long socks with the alternating technique, and the hold was tight enough to keep the sock in place without a clip on each side of my part.

I started buying hair extensions. Ok just hear me out… the hair extensions I’m talking about are already curled and styled and it’s a ponytail so all you literally need to do is put your hair in a bun and clip it on and it looks like you spent $80 at the salon getting an up do. It’s cheaper than the salon though and looks/feels just like your own hair.

Usually people who refer to this length as "short hair" used to have long hair and it's a matter of perspective.
I bet if her usual hairstyle was a bob cut she'd think this is "very long"
I have hair a little shorter than hers but it's fine and thin. This rod works for me but I have to wrap tight and strategically. I also need to find a good holding spray
For people that’s had longer hair most of their life anything shoulder length or shorter is short. For me shoulder and chin is short and anything shorter feels like extra short and around shoulder to armpit is med and after that is long and it it goes to your tailbone or more then extra long but I always have lots of layers in my hair too so it’s a lil bit everywhere. I understand what everyone else it saying too and I can totally see how hair longer then shoulder’s could be considered long. just wanted to say I get what she meant bc that length feels shortish to me too. Anything shorter feels like a whole other world 😂 (my hair is thick wavy/wild and damaged to so when I go shorter it puffs out like a mushroom, so nothing against shorter hair. It just don’t look good on me rn. Maybe one day🤞)

I think we need to redefine really short hair. I wouldn't even call this short hair, maybe medium? Pay shoulders is long to me. A bob is short. A pixie is really short. Lol. I hear short and see this and I'm internally instantly salty, lol. Wish my hair grew in so healthy and full!!
Look great with longer waves but i look ridiculous with my short shoulder length hair. Probably the butterfly cut i did is not the best for my face. Currently growing hair out to waist!
