Exactly. Gavin made a huge mistake not disclosing why he wanted Jian Yang to sign the rights, so Jian Yang immediately knew he caught Gavin with his pants down.
You know it's a well-written show when the villain gets as much fucked over as the protagonists do.

It's true that Bangladesh provides cheap labors, it is still very hard to enter into business in Bangladesh for milking low cost labor advantage. This country has almost become a autocratic country where every large-scale business is in hands of the politicians or is controlled by politicians. So to setup a factory a foreign company will have to bribe the politicians large amount of money. If they are willing to do that, next steps are very easy - I can assure.

Not sure they're "white thrash" or that your understand the meaning of the term. They failed because a Chinese alternative willing to cooperate 100% with the CCP was created (Didi and Taobao for Uber and eBay) and given preferential treatment. Apple are huge in China because they're willing to go along with whatever the communist party wants and because there's no real alternative for the time being, but as soon as a Xiaomi or Oppo get close to the same business model or brand recognition, then Apple are in trouble. Good on Google for not being willing to offer a watered-down version of their services for China and voluntarily puling out of the market instead.

This is completely true. CCP does not need to go into private deals, unless necessary. Private citizens will gladly back stab any foreigners for more direct revenue. Of course, pay their appreciation fee to the CCP without declaring their true income. Documentation is still the main trick over there.

it highlights the absurdities of the tech world-where big deals hinge on who outmaneuvers whom, where hubris is punished, and where the underdog or unexpected ally can gain the upper hand in an instant. Gavin’s humiliation in China is a classic example of how the series humorously tackles these high-stakes business maneuvers.

Tobias Trust I don't think Jian yang got any money. If the dude that owns the factory has the political power to forcibly take someone's company away from them just like that. He might as well take it away from Jian yang for free right? Therefore nobody won except for that factory owner guy.
