as a MASSIVE BH fan, I feel like the technical difficulties era is so underrated in terms of the group’s creativity and synergy. they had absolutely caught lightning in a bottle and couldn’t miss IMO. there’s so many obscure little tracks and snippets that we may only ever hear through iphone streams of DJ sets. for example the track “I Love Him” is this ridiculously good dance track with kevin and ryan beatty that haunts my dreams knowing I’ll probably never hear it in CDQ. i could go on and on about TD and what could have been.
i always thought the "ashamed of being a f***in simpson" line more meant he doesnt want to be a caricature of himself, which is why he deletes his tweets
brockhampton is both one of my all time favorite bands and probably the second most important piece of music which had a direct effect on my real life, the saturarion trilogy had such an effect on me its insane
2549 this part rly resonated w me, cause my grandpa dead earlier this year and my grandma from the other family has late stage alzheimer. I've never had to cope with loss this much in my life. I rly liked how Jabo talked about it here it's exactly how i feel really good video sam i've never rly heard anything from brockhamptons so i'm certainly checking their stuff out now❤
I fell in love with Brockhampton 3 months ago, they’ve been helping during a melancholy period of my life that’s out of my control. My friend tried to introduce me to their music 2 years ago but for some reason didn’t give them a try. Ironically the thing that makes me sad is what led me to rediscover their music, haha. 2:55pm April 14 24 Sunday
Great video but maybe talk just a lil slower cuz sometimes the video felt overly rushed maybe there was a reason idk. Keep Going tho, you’ll see huge numbers soon!!!
this is a really great video, but if i were to criticize it, your editing mixed with your fast talking dosent really work very well and your use of examples while doing said speed talking, for example: you mentioning your favorite tracks in the saturation trilogy and just being a straight breeze of "my favorite tracks on here would be bleachsummerrentalheat and more" and not really subtitling any of it, or showing an example to back up why its your favorite in that bracket. it could maybe drive away newcomers as i also got hella confused with your speedtalking in the ASF, as i wasnt really tapped in in the history, and i kept going back 5 seconds just to catch up on what you said. if this tribute video is for BH fans and BH fans only, sure i can fw that and i fw this heavy, but if you also wanna simultaneously make new BH fans tap in and help them learn about their background as a boyband, i dont think the introductions work very well. this is still a really good and well made video but i just had a really bad gripe with that as i kept making myself rewind 5 seconds just to overly catch up on where we are going 😭 edit: your editing in the ginger era and your explanation of Dearly Departed should be what it was for the rest of the video. i really love your pacing for this track and actually showing the track/example when talking about stuff
i completely agree, i've always had trouble with speaking too fast when I read off a script and have been working on it for ages. Then for the editing I also agree to an extent as the dearly departed section of video is the part of the video I'm most proud. But just doing that much editing for the whole video would take ages.
@@sammypasta im glad that you could understand my very small issue with this video but overall this is such a well made video and i cant thank u more for this video essay
brockhampton is okay
brockhampton sucks
