I have TONS of respect for Nav Bhatia. The amount of crap he faced and had to endure to get where he is, is quite frankly disgusting. Nav is a special person for not only overcoming it, but not letting it affect him as a person or how he treats other people. A great man and a great role model for all regardless of race or background.

Great message - thank you for sharing. I agree we all need to mix & meet people of all cultures. I was very lucky to rent a room once to a Sikh. To this day it is the only time I have ever rented to anyone without seeing them. His Mother & Sister came to look at it & just talking to them I knew it was a great family. I was not disappointed. He was a great tenant & we both learned a lot about each others culture. I find the more we look at each other the more that we realize there are the same types of people in every culture.

Some of you here are just haters I may not know any politics in India but Bhatia is successful. He's putting a lot of money into the Canada one way or another. He could easily spend that money somewhere else. He is successful for a reason and as far as I can see loves Canada.

An extremely motivational video! Mr. Nav Bhatia is a great human being from Delhi, India. While at work, he deals with customers, workers and managers very politely and professionally. His love and passion for basketball permeates in what he does for Raptors. Mr. Bhatia has given a big name to everyone from India besides Sikhs. Indians, especially Sikhs, have been coming to Canada ever since early 1900's. Congress Party responsible for political riots of 1984 caused many Sikhs to move to various countries including Canada. By dint of hard work, many of them like Mr. Nav Bhatia have been extremely successful. Mr. Nav Bhatia undoubtedly has changed the perception of very many Canadians about Sikhs and Indians in general. Hats off to Mr. Nav Bhatia!

Mr. Nav is my favourite person in the world. He doesn't know I exist because I'm but a single grain of sand. But if I had one wish, I'd wish to meet him even if it's just for 1 minute. Or even less. Apart from being humble, kind and hardworking, he has been the best dad to his daughter Tia Bhatia. I always break down in tears when I see their love because my mom grew me up single-handedly and I had never known a dad's love.

In Southern California I have seen Sikh since the 70's never had I seen them do terrible or bad things it always reminded me as Aladdin when I was a child. Me I am one of the few that will walk up to someone ask about their religion or their heritage and I always ask in the nicest way I just want to know I love culture its like a drug to me to find out how people from all over this world do things. At least in the Army I met awesome friends.

Compare even Nav Bhatia, he moved to canada and dealt with racism etc. and was able to move past it all and is now a successful business man who uses his influence to help others, he was able to do this in a Country that owed him nothing but gave him a chance however little.
Now compare it to a country that was supposed to be his home, India the land of his ancestors, where he should have been given a fair chance and the work he could have done for his country. Even now, after becoming a canadian citizen, who technically owes India nothing, he helps build washrooms and make contributions so that children can go to school with his Rise Up Daughters of India foundation. God bless this man! he has a beautiful family and he is a good man!
