Dele Adeyanju is highly intelligent in journalism, he can reframe Questions in 10 different ways and anyone that he interviewed will ultimately revealed whatever
This man is well informed and knows what he is talking about. Unfortunately, we are now bombarded with noise and nonsense lyrics people now call music in Nigeria.😢😢😢😢😢
Uncle Lai Addis is my man from 1997 I first heard his song on radio in Ibadan, till now his pattern of music is superb same like Baba Obey. Kudos to Agbaletu bringing kind of talents like this to know real African music icons.
I really respect this man bcos of his Ideas and philosophies,Sir Lai Adis kindly put your efforts on and include charges bcos of your old😂age, this is what many People are doing to make fortunes in this western world. God bless you all.
Been waiting for the day you will bring lai Addis,I am so happy cos a lot of people don't know the impact of this man in juju, gospel and Fuji music. He made most of the hits we like in Yoruba music
Lai Addis. I love this man to a fault. May God give you him long life. Inshallah, he will play for me soon. Lai, you shall not die young. Keep the flag flying. Mr. Reservoir. Agbanmagbe orin King.
This is the best musician I have respected most in my life. Composer agba. Many people don't even know him but we instrumentalists and musicians knows him wella. He's truly the king of Lyrics.
This man is a genius, technically his analysis is sinking to the core foundation of music.. He has talent, he learned the craft and he is worth honorary Doctorate PHD in music.
What Agbaletu is doing for this generation and the next is massive o. He won't really realize it until many generations. Stories that were lost has been revived and I personally have waited, prayed and wished for these for over 40 years. Thank you so much!
WOW...I like this type of spirit, no bitterness towards anybody. Its good to be well to do in life, bitterness will be far from ones life except for few crazy people. So glad to learn that adage of Ira ti ko lomo ninu in its correct form today.
Thank you Dele and your crew for unveiling this wonderful and great talent. Beautiful and very constructive questions. God bless Mr. Lai Addis, he's a genius and musical general. Your name deserves to be in the hall of fame. ❤❤
Great artiste, good to hear Lai Addis. No dull moments really, between the Anchor and the Guest. Even the way he speaks, respond to questions is creative, great talent no doubt. And the exposure under Commander really tells. Vast in the art and business of music, not common in these parts. Kudos .
Say no more... this man is an "epitome" of history...he is nothing short of an "institution"... very liberal and considerate...May, your fountain of knowledge, never run dry... Thanks so much sir.🙏🙏🙏... Dele, thanks for bringing him to the world..👍👏
Wow. This is the first Agbaletu;s interview that doesn't contain any sob or animosity stories common with some previous interviewees. Lai Addis came across as a very amiable, likeable and intelligent man that fully appreciates his God-given talents and also has respect for fellow musicians. I wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
This man is far intelligent. he knows a lot about music than most musicians and artistes in Nigeria. Most musicians do not even talk about songwriters. A lot of reforms needs to be done in the music industry.
Music education is the way out , the younger generation understand song splits and rights . It's not late and things can change . Mr Adeyanju is already bringing this change and we all should contribute to it . Thanks 🙏
Hahaaa good to see MR Lai Addis again i thought he's no more .Thank you MR DELE for bringing him to the world for us to see. God shall crown all your effort.
This is a very educative and inspiring interview. Mr Lai Addis is very knowledgeable, full of insight and experienced in the music World. He was quite apt with great insight as to issues between composers and musicians. Lastly, I love how grateful he was to Baba Obey for the opportunity he had to travel the World through him. He is another one who is truly at peace with himself.🎉🎉🎉
Now I know why Ayefele keeps paying homage to Addis Lai 😎 Almost all of His life stage performances are this man hand/brain works More grease baba Addis 🎉
@agbaletuTv, Ayinla Omowura is probably one of the only top of not the only to musician in Nigeria who recognise his composers and songwriters in his albums. Ateni semesi & co were always recognized and praised has his composers.
This is an insightful interview as always. But I should point out the fact that a written song is an intellectual property, whether it’s paid for or not. The writer must be duly credited. It’s unfortunate that the society has normalized illegality
I respect Lai Addiz; he is a bundle of talent. To set the record straight, it is not a crime for a musician not to know how to write songs. Contrary to some people's beliefs, God gives us talents differently. As for me, I write songs, sing, and play percussion. Secondly, it is good, moral, and legal to give credit to the source of any song. In fact, in the modern-day music industry, the songwriter is entitled to a percentage of the benefits of the final song. However, I wish I could meet Mr. Addiz in person for my musical project.
Big kudos to agbaletu, please bring baba Jegede Ayefele too, Also please did anyone know Lai adis album that he sang 'Ori mase mi lakobata f'egbe, kin mosi laye, k'ori mi maa gbabode laye, ke mi ma seru egbe mi, k'ori bami se oo
But Dele Taiwo, in an interview to mark his 40th birthday in 2017 credited a certain Love Shobiye as the person who discovered him and introduced him to professional juju music. How come Lal Addis was not mentioned? Still the same issue Addis was saying about artistes not wanting to acknowledge inspiration, or even contributors, to their stardom fear of "losing face", it is simply gross! Well done again, Agbaletu, you're really great!
Lai Addis didn't say he introduced Dele Taiwo to music. What he said is that DT is like his younger brother, and they collaborated to work on the songs in his albums.
Agbaletu you are right Adewale Ayuba, K1 Ultimate, Late Sikiru Ayinde Barrister all of them have played in big concerts in Europe and America many times, especially Adewale Ayuba played in Amsterdam and New Jersey, it is on his RUclips channel
Ose o Jesu was composed by a member of defunct Halleluyah choral group of first baptist chuerch ilora. Try and look for old members to confirm it was in their record in early 70s

Ojo to to ro sinu ikoko lagbala was OBESERE's Song from Introduction 1991. He need to be corrected. ❤
You say? Really?
@0thi123 yes! 💯
@@Obaobex which song?
It was Agbadaowo that introduced guitar in early 80s
He is right....Fuji can step up if packaged right.
Lai was wrong by saying it is him who introduce guiter in Fuji music. Ayinde Barrister was the first person on his exposition record.
The first phone number on the screen is different from what he mentioned-last two digits are 2 0, not 3 0.
Ose o Jesu was composed by a member of defunct Halleluyah choral group of first baptist chuerch ilora. Try and look for old members to confirm it was in their record in early 70s
