I’m in the process of getting my new crafting space and I will be able to make so many wall designs I’m excited to order. I’m leaning towards the matte more than shiny. Love ALL the colors.
Thank you so very much! I am new to vinyl! I bought my Cameo 4 on Black Friday from Swing Design. I had learned how to do tumblers and needed the Cameo!!! ;) As I grazed on videos, I found you! And I found Alex from 651VINYL. I had invested in Oracal products, and the Silhouette accessories. At the beginning of February I decided to make some political signs for my local elections. Up comes 651VINYL's StarCraftHD. Amazingly, I was already a member of their group and was able to read the reviews. MADE IN THE USA is a PLUS! I bought the StarCraftHD and have been totally pleased! As I am learning, I tested things like the dots! When some were lifted up before I weeded, they easily laid back down. I slowed down my speed when I was doing the small stuff. Not sure if it helped. It seemed to. All of my stuff is new! I know you are filming and that has limitations, but when I hold the pin pen like a pen, as instructed ;) , it was way easier to use! Since I am new, I do not know much of a difference. But the company is GREAT! I am very glad to see this video from you! My BFF has done HTV for a couple of years. She has helped me alot! I have ordered her some of the StarCraft HTV. Granted, it is not USA made, but it is made in Europe. My order will arrive tomorrow. In this order I took advantage of their Vinyl sale! OH...I have been back on your videos, looking for different ways to work with the HTV. My friend has limited time, with her real job, and is thrilled I am able to offer her new ideas! Your instructions are VERY GOOD! I hope to be able to gift back to you. Being new, mine are baby steps. The crafting community is a wonderful community. There are good souls everywhere! I hope that your subscribers will follow your link to 651VINYL, and try this new vinyl! I have also done a little bit with the printed vinyl from 651VINYL. I like that, too! Anyway, thank you!!! For anything you want. You could use it to laminate a complex decal (or as a base to attach it to), or printed stickers, as a stencil, as a “hidden” decal, some people even sublimate on it.
Sounds like you need to adjust your cut settings. If it’s lifting while cutting, it’s too deep or too much force. If it’s lifting while weeding, you need to cut it deeper.
@@ElleBeeCreates this vinyl is trash. I adjusted my cut settings over and over and over. Tried everything. It either wouldn't cut through or would lift and spread the vinyl. I couldn't even get to the stage if reverse weeding because this cut so badly. I was really hoping for this to be better than 651, I wasted an entire 5 yard roll trying to get this to cut correctly. The test cuts would be perfect, then when it came to the design, it just wouldn't cut right, no matter the setting. I went from a blade of 1 to blade of 3 and forced everywhere in between 6 and 20. Nothing worked. I will never buy StarCraft again.
@@JuiceBoxx_627 I have never had an issue with StarCraft. I would check your file, check your blade, and check the condition of your mat. If all of those are in tip top shape I would reach out to the company you purchased it from. I’ve found StarCraft to be leaps and bounds better than any other adhesive vinyl I’ve ever used, have been thru dozens of yards of it, and never once had those issues.
@@ElleBeeCreates it's a brand new blade, mat, everything. The only difference was I was cutting StarCraft and not 651. I went through an entire 5 yard roll like I said, but I've already got 50+ decals cut and placed from different colors of 651. I wasted an entire day screwing with the StarCraft and had to ask my customer if she would mind me switching to colors instead of the white.
@@JuiceBoxx_627 I would reach out to whomever you purchased it from, sounds out of character for StarCraft materials. At least give the company a chance to make it right.
