    Just feel like I’d struggle remembering where everything went the first time lol. I’d be taking pictures of everything as I went probably. Be fun to learn and may do it eventually. Cool vid

    You should do a street port if you're looking at power gains!

    Everything that breaks is an opportunity for an upgrade!
    Street port that baby

    Hey I’m tearing down a 13b rotary engine. I have another set of pistons. But different markings. SB and a SL stamped on them.

    I find rotaries so fascinating, if only I had an idea of what was going on in this teardown. >_

    ASMR Engine teardown :) Turbo rotary is always cool :D Doable on the RX8 too though? When looked into RX8 read somewhere they were not ideal for turbo or something.

      Yeah, they have higher compression and dont like forced induction, the renesis engine is not something you can easily modify, but on older rotaries you could do a lot more with them, I.E the REW engine and such.

      Street port or a bridge port, because I want a little braaap and some bangs out the exhaust. Then maybe sell it. If I won't sell it, I'll probably go offroad with it. The build is in hold because I need a lot of money to actually rebuild it and make it drivable. But in the meantime I have some cool experiments to show on this channel.

    4 ports never came manual, I’m confused as to why it has a clutch

      In the entire Europe and Japan we had 4 port 5 speed manual. Quite common.

    Apart from that god awful stat gear bearing, your engine wasn't in all that bad of a state

    • @TryThisThing
      @TryThisThing  3 года назад +2

      Thats right. When I cleaned everything it was all ok. Then I made a bridgeport and the engine overheated and blew one oil ring.

      @@KLM--vm3mp Exactly. But it's not only the water radiator that needs an upgrade, but also bigger oil coolers also.
