The way you explain and demonstrate is easy to follow and super helpful, I have improved so much by watching your videos! By far the best head tutorial, thankyou so much niro!
Your point about the eyes is true, art uses a lot of psychology this is where “design” comes in to play, every detail matters into expressing what the art is supposed to be.
Most helpful tutorial ive seen. Ive been wanting to learn how to draw or animate, since ive been inspired to and i want to make it a hobby or something i enjoy doing for fun. My hands are really shaky, so i cant really sketch on paper or anything like how normal artists do. Ive been practicing alot with references on pinterest (that are usually animals like, cats, dogs, deer, etc.) and it has helped me improve aswell. good luck to all those beginner artists out there!
@@anti1wreally u have to try it. I drew everday till midnight. Not always anatomy tho. Sometimes when I forgot anatomies, I started to making my own tutorial. Now I want to draw more pose
Ive been drawing for 10 years and dont know proportion or fundamentals i just draw and draw until i got slightly better, honestly without your help i wouldn't have looked at my art objectively and scientifically lore accurate😂 now i draw better and feel better thanks.
I just subscribed because of the calming pace and the mellow background music and also the pleasant narrative. No need to mention the amount of the good content. Keep it going man.
11:04 is some great subtle advice; using reference isn't just about copying aspects you need, but also to make the process easier each time with the knowledge you gain
great video! i really love your art style and i wish i could see more of your drawings and sketches of human faces and bodies (so i can "steal" stuff from your style) great stuff and goood luck!
Studying animation is actually good for studying motion and because there are a lot of drawings you have to do, so they often teach you to draw in simple shapes which is a very helpful tip in general cause that's what stylizing is, simplifying things in your way or changing proportions in your understanding ( at least that's what i know so far)
Finally, I've found the tutorial that I liked and that is helpful for me! I've watched a lot of tutorials before but only now I feel that I will draw faces better
In my experience, referencing real people is significantly better than referencing anime. Or at least, *only* referencing anime. By that I mean, it’s good to “steal” stylistic attributes that you enjoy from various artists, but getting the fundamentals down is much better with real people. My art got significantly more anatomically accurate, detailed and confident when I started heavily referencing real people. Just choose a certain demographic you want to incorporate. Like young women, pretty boys, super masculine men, whatever you want to nail down or just learn/improve.
I really like this tutorial, it's really very useful, but for some reason I'm afraid to learn. You never know if I’ll give up drawing.. or maybe I don’t want to draw people..
Love this tutorial so much it’s super helpful but could you do a tutorial on the eyes? I often get stuck on the eyes and end up hating them especially when it’s on different angles
@Kosin-zs9ilI dont think they hate it, its just not really compatible with stylized art, which most people draw in. Or at least, what most beginners want to draw in.
the reason why i came all the way here is because i wanna ask is it really possible to draw on a tablet (not a display screen which is sensor) with just looking at the screen? because i feel like a lot of ppl do it but i don't think it do me the job what i mean is that i used to draw on paper for decades and when i got the chance to draw digitally it feels off and i don't seem to understand lets say when i draw the eyes on the paper for example it turns out good as i want and when i draw it digitally looks like a ghost u could say not something i want, so is that my mistake or my device quality too bad? any tips?
I just started drawing maybe like 1 month ago and I can’t draw eyes or make them look good they are either to small or to big or just don’t look right with the face and I’m very frustrated with it
The result is so beautiful! I practice drawing like you, but it was so hard. But watching your video makes me want to try again. Thank you for telling me so much. I'll practice hard. 10720

The editing made me CACKLE, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who often takes more time to draw a circle than the entire character KEK.
I spend so much time drawing that circle... How can our drawing be perfect if the CIRCLE ITSELF isn't perfect, right???

loomis method + cube method =🤯
You are my messiah dude. Your the only art youtuber I can understand from.
Suggestion: can you make a video about anime style hair and eyes
i might consider switching to more stylised faces but semi-realism is great for me also
anyways great vid and nice tutorial
dude this is so unbelievably underrated
p.s: art style reminds me of Persona 5 and i love it 🔥
