I love this video as usual...I happened to be having some inkjet and laser printable transparencies being delivered by USPS from Amazon today so when this popped up after I watched your new Gratitude Documented video, I knew God was sending it for me to watch so that I can get busy using my transparencies for His Glory via my Bible Journaling. Thank you again for your diligence in sending out process videos as God is using your ministry in doing so to help those of us who need some tutorials. Happy Crafting and Blessings your way as you await the arrival of the newest member of your family. Hugs, Denise
It was definitely a learning experience. Tried a Corner rounder decorative punch, which didn't work and got stuck. resulting in sharp tear. Then I watch your video, duh, scissors rounding! Easy peasy. Used transparency from Bright and Brave (love, faith, joy) and some butterfly washi . Page is simply over NEW TESTAMENT page to add weight as a divider. Sometime in future when finally try acryllics I will add to the plain pages but that's enough for now.
Hi Jillian, I love these clear page inserts, such a cool addition to the regular page entries! I am wondering, what kind of ring is that /are those that you have your Washi Tapes on? That's a great way to store them, sure beats them all being in a large ziplock bag and have to fumble around looking through it. Where can those hoops be purchased? I can't wait to add a clear page to my journaling - yippee! Thanks for sharing and I am SO going to get those adorable cactus goodies! Hugs, Gale The Happy Stamper :)
I would LOVE to have a journaling "Sesh", lol!!! I looked at some embroidery hoops at my Micheals and I think I will take a looksie again. I will check out the Reset Girl too and OBTW ~ I picked up the cactus stickers and much more - yippee!!! I am in Chicago, are you in the midwest by chance??? Hugs, Gale :)
thanks for sharing in love it I need to get some transparency sheets are they really expensive I just love the look and versatility of them God bless and have a happy day
Hi, Yvonne! The 12x12 single sheets run about $2, but you can find them at Michael's and use a 40% off coupon :) If you don't have a michael's in your area, scrapbook.com typically has them in stock also :) The clear cuts pad from Illustrated Faith is about $10 and has 12 6x8 sheets
Another great page. I also would like to know about the ring , my local craft stores don't have anything like this. Question: do you ever go through periods where you go to do some bible journaling but your mind goes blank? For days on end...blank?? I seem to have that problem often lately. If you have experienced this, do you have any suggestions for moving through it without utter frustration and pulling your hair out? 😀 Thanks Jillian.
I just saw you already answered the hoop question. can you say which store? was it hobby lobby or Joann's? For sure Michael's doesn't carry them. At least not mine.
Hi, Laura! I did get them at Michael's a few months ago...next to the wooden embroidery hoops :/ As for your question about journaler's block...if you mean you don't know what you want it to look like, I would suggest not forcing it. Maybe stop trying for a couple days and just read, pray about it and write down whatever God is speaking to my heart in a notebook. When I have a creative dry spell I find that stepping away, not stressing about it and spending extra time in the Word will help me bounce back with a renewed excitement about the whole process :)
Thank you Jillian. I'll keep looking for the hoops. maybe they were just out of stock. Thanks for your suggestions on how to handle the dry spells with creativity. I have tried stepping back....I think when I'm stressed about life's tough stuff it affects my creativity. I have it some thought and definitely see a pattern. I'll try diving deeper in the Word more. Weird how when things get tough I tend to read less. So silly and certainly not helpful!! Anyway, I digress!!!! Thanks again. 💛
I really like the way your thinking goes when you do these. You are so creative! I'm still very new to this but I love the things you use to represent your thoughts. I'm also going to try the transparency thing since I don't have a Journaling Bible yet so this will be great so that I don't have to cover up the words!
Hey, Laura! I *think* using it with an inkjet printer could potentially make the image smear, but double check the packaging to see what printer they recommend :)
Laura Svee There are inkjet transparencies available (I once used them to do a presentation in school a few years back). Make sure to set your printer properties to transparency and load them in correctly.
Great video. I've done that same thing with washi tape when folding it over! :{ Just a tip: Instead of tearing your washi tape to make it thinner, you can put it on your Fiskars cutting contraption length wise and cut really thin pieces. It works great! Thanks for sharing your bible love!
Yes! I use a wide margin journaling bible. If you'd like to check out the particular one I use I've got in linked in the video description below the video :)
Hi, Sherry! I think it seems that way because I've sped up and edited the video-there is a lot of tweaking and picking up and sticking back down that happens :)
So cute, Jillian!!! I love pockets, bags, and envelopes for private journaling. Thank you for sharing the sermon series!
Thank you, Erlyne! And agreed! :)

Hello Jillsky, I'm subscribed for a long time now, but not getting notifications lately. I thought you'd stopped. I'm glad all is well. 😊

Yay! It's so fun! :)
love the transparency in the bible. Must try this. TFS!
Yay! Go for it! It adds a nice pop of pattern :)
Another inspiring page! I recently cut a transparency sheet to fit my Bible and needed you to spur me on to get it finished. Thanks again.
Haha that's great, Sue! I wanna see when you finish it! :)

Haha! That sounds bright and fun! That's a good idea to use it as a divider of the old and new testaments too!! :)
Thanks
Hello Jillian, hope had a blessed Easter! Your page is beautiful and I love the transparency tip in! Thank you for sharing! God bless, Kim

Ohh, that would be great in a bible with regular margins...great idea, Laurie! Thank you for your sweet comment!
Love your page! What is that ring you use to hold your washy tape?
lmari03 it is a plastic embroidery hoop that I got at my local craft store 😊
Thank you!!
Hi again! 😄 Just wondering, to print on clear transparency sheets, do you need a laser printer or will it work on ink jet as well?

Another great entry!
Thank you, Gail!
Is this a specific journaling Bible (I noticed it had large margins).
Yes! I use a wide margin journaling bible. If you'd like to check out the particular one I use I've got in linked in the video description below the video :)
I miss you!!!!!
they sell the illustrated faith transparency at ross
I love this idea! Thank you for sharing!
How long does a page typically take you? In the beginning?
Hi, Kennedy! Great question! I feel like they've always taken about a half hour..maybe 15 minutes if I don't use any paint :)
What are you using for washi storage?
NM...just read some other comments

Thank you, Ana!
