@@richardkeller4912hHahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahah Taylor is God but i swear i was gonna tell this idiot to keep his sphincter to himself with that idiotic comment lol
I love it that Mick Taylor shows up dressed like a British banker, out to pick up the Sunday papers, and then launches into some of the best blues guitar work on the planet. Without a doubt, he's a guitarist of the first rank, as skilled in his own way, as the great Flamenco guitarists.
These guys jammed.....This is a great Band. Sad they did not get publicity.....Their concert recordings can really sell....Lot of people wanting to hear this. Thanks again. The look on MT's face at 52 minute mark on is priceless.
My interest in sharing the videos was and is so that people would be able to see "how" Mick Taylor plays the guitar. Particularly important is for other guitarists to see how Taylor executes his notes so that they (especially so) might open their eyes and ears to the Taylor approach to technique. Taylor is a technician, but he also has unusual feel, only on a scale with a Jaco Pastorius or a Mozart. Just maybe meatball guitar players (there are way too many of them) might take notice and then therefore practice to change their own playing and grow as musicians. Maybe.
+Daniel Shafner I am confused, who shot this Dan, you or Big Swifty or are you one in the same, I have a lot of Mick Taylor stuff but very little of it has the original source credited anywhere.
+lapaz62 We are the same, I'm sorry to confuse, Yes, this iis Dan Shaf. And yes, I shot and own this amazing video. Probably more than any other video of Mick Taylor, the close-ups of his hands while he solos are the very best there is, you actually get to see what it is that makes Mick Taylor one of the greatest of players. That was my intent when choosing a spot to place my tripod. All of my videos were shot with that intent, to be "instructive" and to showcase the majesty of Mick Taylor's playing technique. Most videographers suck, in my opinion. If you send me a private note -- I don't know how to do that using youtube -- I can tell you if concert x,y,or z comes from me. Again, thanks to this uploader for placing this video on youtube.
Mick’s first solo album is better than anything the stones put out since he left them. He was a huge part of their success
OPINIONS ARE LIKE SPHINCTERS........
